In the beginning, God had three children. The third (I'm gonna name him C) was the child of the other two (A and B). He was sick or something like that and his mother (B) killed him because she didn't want him to suffer anymore. Then her partner and God's first-born (A) killed her because of her action, and somehow C killed them both. (Or that's what I understood) so God cursed all of them to be reborn and repeat those actions time and time again.
Our lovely Abel is the reincarnation of C, our FL is the reincarnation of B, and there is some priest somewhere who is the reincarnation of A. That's why Abel killed the Duke, his "parent", because of the curse.
Then, if I don't remember wrong... Take a sit this is gonna be wild...
Abel is our FL's past reincarnation son. She asked the Duke to take care of the child and promise to kill *anyone* who told him they remember their past lives, because they would be A and B reincarnated.
The pills she takes is not because of her sickly weak body but a kind of magic seal to prevent her from remembering being B and killing Abel. BTW, the priest who makes those pills is A, or so I remember. A wants to break the curse because he is tired of killing the woman he loves and seeing her kill C and C killing them both.
I just realised that I don't remember if Abel was our ML's biological son or not Σ( ￣□￣||) but I believe he isn't. Σ(っ°Д °;)っ

I thought naming them that way so that they (as the first lives) can be easily differentiated from the other past lives of the characters. ( T﹏T )

I have to say, unfortunately, I agree with you and have thought so from the beginning. Had she told him up front, then it would be different. But at this point, he has every right to be upset and not want anything more to do with her (I would say he should still take some responsibility in providing support to the kid, but I doubt Fah would accept that help anyway).

as a father who was placed into this very situation let me just say it is fucked up but i also know that HAD i known about my oldest daughter when she was born i know for a fact i would not have had ANY of the chances i was given in life PERIOD because my own family would have forced me to start working when i was only 13 years old to help provide for her . though i did miss out on her first 13 years of life which sucks my daughter and i now have a great relationship and i have been able to have a great relationship with my GRANDSONS as well which is an even bigger plus because i sadly (joking about the sad part) mainly have DAUGHTERS lol
