Yeah they do basically immediately upon this all getting out. I don't know much of the details of it cuz of the reasons I listed at top of my post but they definitely don't carry it out as other drama is happening. Hamin also doesn't ever seem to be like, "I told you so" - and Ryeojoon just seems to appreciate that Hamin clearly cares for him. (Hamin even takes him back to his family's house for a break. I kept reading a little and like -- it may not seem like much but it's bad. Ryeojoon is the hot gossip, he gets chewed out by female fans (Hamin protects him)... And then when they meet up and Ryeojoon wants nothing to do with him - he forces Ryeojoon to talk about it and then THREATENS him/Hamin. My Chinese is rusty as all get out and I'm working with rough stuff - so I couldn't tell if the threat was just outing them or if it was a physical threat. Maybe both? Can't say. Ryeojoon gets MAD at that though.
Overall, redhead is just a manipulative little rat who thinks he's entitled to Ryeojoon. He doesn't get it when literally everyone tells him he's in the wrong, and continues to pressure all parties without any regard for Ryeojoon's feelings. Btw he threatened them after Ryeojoon made it 100% expressly clear he had a boyfriend and had NO interest in him romantically. So nasty.
Meanwhile Hamin, during all of this, is an absolute angel. He covers for Ryeojoon without letting his personal feelings make him hesitate, he takes care of Ryeojoon's feelings/wellbeing first, etc. A blessing. 10/10.

Hamin isn't wrong because both these cases he has had concrete reasons to be distrustful of the other person (with the pedo - he'd gone after his childhood friend. With redhead - he literally SAID he didn't care if he troubled Ryeojoon with scandal).
BUT Ryeojoon isn't wrong because he IS an adult and deserves trust to be able to handle himself. Without giving him the full story, Hamin just seems to be treating Ryeojoon like a child who needs to be protected by one of them. Cuz he's not competent enough to do it himself.
