I think it's also because the crew just witnessed something raw, real and utterly hot! If Lancer is any indication of the kind of actor they deal with on a regular basis, then the scene between McQueen and Edd would be something rare for them as well.

In the newest chapter (14), we meet the ex-wife, Jessica. Her and Sam are still buddies and we're going to find out why Sam and Jessica divorced. Also she's read Henry's book on his first love so the chances she knows Henry's first love was Sam is DAMN high, perhaps it might also be the reason for the divorce as she knows that Henry loves Sam and vice versa.

If that's true though, hope Henry goes fuck that and just dips. Mostly so the story doesn't feel so one-sided, like the author really ain't giving Seth that much to work with. I mean;

Constantly reminds Henry of Sam
Looks like Sam
Acts like Sam

Like really boo, give him a chance! I hope he ends up with his friend tbh, or atleast goes beyond being a Sam 2.0.

This honestly reminds me of a theory I had;

-Sam was/is in love with Henry
-Might've caught Henry with some guy (gonna guess Will which might show why Henry was so unhinged at the mere mentioned of his name.)
-Said guy tells Sam of him and Henry's relationship
-Sam, devastated and heartbroken, decides to just get with Jessica who was in love with Sam as a means of trying to get over Henry (which also might show why Sam's face was so pained in that flashback where Jessica was with him.)
