I like stories like this one. As in, manhwas where sex isn't a plot device essentially written for the cheap thrills (looking at you, Omegaverse and guideverse), where there's an actual plot (looking at you PWPs that masquerade as stories but are failing at it), an actual story that makes narrative sense, where the main characters don't just jump into having gratuitous sex and there is actual development (looking at....well it's hard to name them, they are so maaaaany) and the writer has done their research and due diligence before writing the story (looking at all the manhwas set in Russia or with russian characters, or where MC is a spy and others).
I like that the characters have goals, aspirations, the uke has a solid personality that doesn't just revolve around the seme (looking at you jinx, and many others), the seme isnt a sex crazed jealous maniac with his brain in his dick, and the macro story goes beyond their relationship. A well rounded story, that explores not only the characters but also encapsulates the time, location, culture, era, the weltenschauung. I have read easily two hundred bl manhwas but well written stories, i can count on my fingers. Although the length of schlongs in this bl is disturbingly unnatural like in most manhwas, but oh well, we pick our battles.

Story does not make sense. Convenient boring ass tropes, no nuance, it really does read like the author's personal fantasy which has no substance to speak of. Dropped
This manhwa has been frustrating af for a while. Like just get over yourself and talk, you miserable idiots.
There's no way the heir of a steel company, a chaebol would casually give information about one of his own ilk, the ML, to someone like the uke who is as broke as he can be, and definitely not just because the uke asked. That's not how the rich behave. Rich people share that kind of insider information with their own class, either that or when they have an ulterior motive, a more sinister objective. That so called friend of ML knows he has no chance of getting it with the uke, and anyway the rich keep their friends and casual fucks separate. They will never allow them to mingle at level playing field. This divide is much bigger in status obsessed korea than most other asian countries. Writer do better please. I am not even korean and even I get that.
The uke is such a bad spy. Just like that uke in red candy. Why won't you wear a mask if you are gonna raid someone's office? Is it any wonder his face was caught on surveillance camera? How come they dont hear someone approaching when they are sneaking around in someone's home? And how come they get so frazzled and nervous when they are caught? Spies are supposed to be quick on their toes and always remain composed no matter the situation. Writer at least make me believe your characters. Like how many stupid avoidable mistakes can they make and still appear credible? Like at least get the minimum basic requirements right. There's so much amazing and popular espionage literature in the world, especially the Soviet ones, take inspiration. Also how come these people just randomly bump into each other in a large city? Sure it's a writing convenience but very tacky to read.
Not bad. Interesting plot and characters. Seme seems like a promising character to watch out for. Uke is far from a sorry powerless twink. Also want to know more about the prosecutor. Art is fresh. Dialogue isn't too clunky. The artist has added visual details which feels refreshing. But I don't get why the seme has elf ears while the uke has cauliflower ears.

Not a believable storyline, stereotypical characters, tropey plot. Dropped.
Storywise, the author let go of the most fertile part of uke's and seme's relationship, the many months where one trained the other everyday. They did not treat the subject matter sincerely or believably. That was where all the drama was, the dynamic and character development, the type of give and take where their relationship would have matured and they wouldn't act like the same people they were at the beginning. Four or five months working out together every single day, spending significant time with each other, and their dynamic is the same at the end of it, where are all those many months of them getting to know each other? The MC is the same shallow dude and the ML is the same insecure dude they were at the beginning. not enjoying this. Dropping.
Gay manhwa version of the shape of water lol. Fish boning a human.
The comment section is treating the seme like some monster lol. Y'all project way too much. Both uke and seme are in a relationship with mutual consent and understanding. Seme is inexperienced sleeping with men and uke is just inexperienced so yeah he making a lot faux pas, being way too submissive. Uke was happy with their relationship as it was but now that they are steadily getting closer, he wants more. This is simply a FWB trope, there's nothing complicated about it, you have already read like 20 BLs with this trope. Uke will finally realize he wants more and either confront or leave without a word and it makes sense because he has been in love for a long time. But that's not the case for moogyum. He hasn't done anything weird for a guy who vocally prefers casual hookups. It's not like the uke is very good at communicating his feelings. He will learn better and so will moogyum. As the story goes on, he will obviously realize he also developed feelings and rn, he is catching feelings but readers here just want to throw him to the dogs because he is not doing it at their pace lol. Chill, this is a bl, he will realize eventually. That's where the drama lies. Y'all need to get out of this childish instant gratification mentality, it kills storytelling.

This author can really use some help. What a badly written story. They picked up a heavy theme like cancer and impending death and made a mockery out of it. Dont know if it's supposed to be drama or comedy, the humor they superimposed upon the story feels forced and out of place, like pineapple on neapolitan pizza. The characters feel hollow, without substance. The writer should have done a bit of research about how terminal cancer patients actually act like or feel like. It's not just the misplaced humor but they try to insert random angst in it and again fall flat on their face. Why even choose such a heavy theme when you can't do even a little bit of justice to it. Art is also bad, the characters' expressions are so wooden, it's the same job expression almost everywhere for the ML. Bad job, author. Really bad. Want to give this zero stars.
Author pls come back soon. Heeryang can tell it's not Yeonjo's body. I am sure he knows yeonjo lives. And he will find out where, just a matter of time.
If woowon goes with that blackmailer, when he is supposed to wait for Seo an, when he himself insisted he would stay, that would be really crappy of woonwon. woowon already knows how much seo an detests that blackmailer dude. Why would the writer even bring him back and repeat that arc? Neither of the characters would ideally want anything to do with him.
The story gave the impression woowon has managed to handle his severe insecurity and lack of self worth, after all Seo An supported him every step of the way. If woowon still has doubts at this stage, no matter how naive he otherwise is, then seo an's effort would be going to waste and that's not fair to seo an. Woowon get your shit together.
More readers should read this. Really well written. It has comedy, drama, emotional intrigue. Strongly defined characters, a deeply felt and understood realistic examination of relationships and importance of communication. It portrays real practical aspects of a relationship, beyond the happy ending readers are used to in this genre. Supporting characters are also very well written. The narrative is a bit complex but worth it. Quite a gem, this one. Art is cute too, not the copy paste shit often seen in BL manhwas. So glad I found it.

One of the most realistic BL stories I have read on this site. Very well written, examines the relationship dynamic very closely with well sketched characterisation, nuanced and well observed. Art is quite individualistic, cute, thankfully not the copy paste commercial moulds seen in majority of BL manhwas. There's comedy, drama, emotional high points portrayed a very well rounded picture of a relationship. Just sad that absolute trash and slop manhwas are rated much higher than this on this site. Well, one shouldn't be surprised looking at the comments and reviews I guess. This readership is terrible at media comprehension, no understanding and no taste.
