Unlikeable stupid uke. Basically bad characterization. Story is also pretty pedestrian. Badly written. Dumb plot

The deconstruction of a relationship. The ups and downs. Very well captured.

This shit is so funny. I don't think I have laughed so much reading any other BL before. What mostly goes for campy comedy in BLs is badly written pwp. This one is well written, with the right comedic timing, the characters are believable, the scene building is sincere and nuanced. Enjoying it quite a bit.

This is an interesting manhwa. Well written, refreshingly different and likeable uke, whodunnit story. Waiting for updates.

Police saying the suspect was drinking so he must have killed someone?? Yeah police won't say that unless they wanted to be sued. There was no evidence of jihyun attacking the victim, what they had the flimsiest kind of circumstantial evidence. Police (in a developed country with trained/accountable police infrastructure) have better sense to accuse someone with that kind of evidence. No court would ever convict on the basis of that. Writer just go on Google and do a bit of cursory research before writing. Just a little bit.

If a guy was in jail on murder charges, no way a school would take him, even if he had connections. The board of school would never allow it. In any case, all the students have to do is tell their parents and their parents will force the school to get rid of him. Writers at least come up with possible scenarios..

It's a pretty ordinary story, like many other bl manhwas, if not outright offensive. Character dynamic is also pretty ordinary. Characters are pretty vanilla, however relieved to see it doesn't have the pathetic weak uke trope. Nothing really stands out. Character design is decent. Most fans like this manhwa because of how the characters look and because the sex is hot. I found it pretty meh. The plot itself is pretty uninteresting, and pedestrian.

Wha

These are high school kids? Why do they look like they are at least 30?

Stilted writing. There no sense of time. no continuity. Characters aren't well written or rounded. First few chapters, the MC and ML and have made out twice and reader doesn't even know what they do for a living, or anything general about their lives. The only thing reader sees MC do is take his niece to playschool when he is not trying to seduce the ML. Why would
a reasonable reader even care about what happens to these characters if they don't know anything about them apart from the fact one wants to bang the other? ML doesn't seem he even has a personality. Amateur writing.

Both MC and ML are morally grey characters. Neither is likeable. It seems the story is headed towards the direction where MC will get his comeuppance for how he treated Taesan. And hopefully ML gets therapy. But well, his religious parents probably won't allow or facilitate a healthy way to cope.

Okay but you can like more than one kind of food/cuisine right? most people don't eat the same thing everytime they go out even if they like it. And even in Italian or western cuisines, there are other options that won't clash with your lactose intolerance...like maybe pick up a salad, or pasta with tomato based sauce, or curry. It doesn't have to be something with dairy. Also it's funny that the MC has gotten over his ex crush but still eating pasta ordered by the latter, despite his intolerance. Like maybe now, you can pick something different, no?

Mayonnaise. Generously slather your hair with it from root to tips meticulously. Leave it for a few hours. Wash. Plus cutting hair won't get rid of lice.

Don't know what kinda elite agent acts as hapless, dumb, clumsy and clueless as this annoying uke. If the writer is trying to impress upon the reader that this is believable characterization, well that didn't work. Dropped.

NO One mAkEs My Bf cRy, lol seme get the fuck Outta here. it took THIS LONG for the seme to realize how much that restaurant meant for the uke when the uke showed such emotion for his restaurant FROM THE BEGINNING. I thought that once they started dating, the seme would do something about those thugs but he didn't, he just wanted sex. Now after the uke was attacked and blackmailed into giving up his restaurant, now the seme is suddenly clocking everything. AND HE IS A POLICE OFFICER who had the best position to realize and resolve something like this from the beginning. And he left the uke to deal with the mob boss ALONE even after everything the uke went through. Seriously seme isn't a good boyfriend or a police officer.

Ah wasn't expecting this amnesia twist or whatever. Don't care for it either. Laughing at the MC who is so taken aback seeing ML and thinks it's so strange to bump into him. They both work in the film industry which is already small where everyone knows everyone else. Lol. The ML looked better before than now when he is an actor.

Their skin is the same colour as the walls...

The story makes sense with the backstory. The fucked up royal family who treated chang geon like a rabid dog which turned him into an obsessive and violent adult. The love and care shown by Sam gave him the motivation to become better and strive to be a king. The story makes sense.

It also makes sense that not everything would be hunky dory, fluffy and cute with such a story and such treatment of the characters, which readers dont seem to understand. You don't have to root for one or the other, you dont have to take sides, you dont have to necessarily expect a happy ending. Just enjoy the story and writing for what it is without projecting your shortsighted, immature opinions on it by willy nilly judging these characters without grounding them in their lived reality. That's what stories are for. To give you a window into someone else's reality, someone else's life. It doesn't have to follow your superficial logic or expectations. As long as it's well written and well understood and researched, nuanced and well balanced, appreciate the story and characters for what they are.
