i dunno it kinda felt lacking a bit. the end just feel so meh. their relationship kinda just also crosses the line so often but its never really discussed. i dunno if the author meant for it to only show the beginnings of a relationship and the ending really cemented the feeling that this was just the start of their relationship, at least in my head. wished we got some side story with a timeskip so we can see how their relationship progressed and if ceasar ever does grow as a partner.
He’s obsessed and is used to having him. it’s not love, its like a parasitic relationship. he just uses him to feel something, like someone. that is NOT someone you need in your life. if he really loved him he would have ran away with him. Instead he needs this to feel like someone and would rather drag Ian down with him. Joseph actually aligned with Ian in what he wants plus more. To go somewhere else, start over, he’s willing to throw it all away cause some part of him wants that too. but he also brings some perspective and his own takes on things ian says. he’s willing to bargain while TJ is not. TJ wants to die on that hill and Joseph wants to do whatever it takes for both parties to be happy as long as it’s feasible and within reach. that’s my take on it #teamjoseph
