Hi

Does anyone know a similar website to mangago but without a comment section. I get way to invested in the comments..

I’ve always preferred stories where the MC chooses the new love over the old. They remind us that no matter how long we’ve known someone, it’s possible to move on. Too many couples stay together just because it feels safe, familiar, or tied to shared trauma, and that isn’t real growth.

TJ is the old love. He and Ian went through hell together, but what they share is more codependency than chemistry. Jo is the new love, and the fact that he didn’t grow up in that same toxic environment isn’t a flaw. It’s exactly why he’s the healthier choice. Healing means stepping away from what hurt you, not clinging to it because it’s all you know.

If Jo and TJ had entered Ian’s life at the same time, Jo would be the obvious choice. TJ only has the advantage of history.

Im looking for BLs where the bottom, was only a top (He's not verse) - example (Dohyeok from my Suha)

MsManhwa asked a question

Their older brother dies, in an accident and the middle brother blames the youngest brother for it, I dont remember much else except that he's father makes him work at the company and the seme is blonde

They will probably end up together but it would be fun to read a story where the character doesn't change their mind on what they prefer (He said he didn't like big age gaps)

MsManhwa asked a question

Can someone please give me TV show recommendation with vibes of early 2000s and 2010s shows, like The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars

THE ONLY REQUEST I HAVE is that there is No Love Triangle or cheating

MsManhwa created a topic of Jinx

We all know thet Dan and Jaekyung are going to end up together, this is BJ Alex 2.0, because of that reason alone I could never fully hate Jaekyung, I have faith in the redemption arc, I also think he has a lot more to be redeemed for compared to Alex/Jiwon and if this story was a love triangle I would root for each ever option was healthier (I would never read it if it was a love triangle).

Jaekyung is terrible I wont deny that, but he's not worse than alot of semes in BL (,example the Semes from Non-Zero Sum)

Im Also so curious to see the switch up

If you've seen this trend on tiktok, could you please reccomend me some stories like this.

soulmate through pain” trope, where suffering is framed as proof of love.
writers romanticize enduring bonds over new beginnings.

I cant escape the struggle love trope

MsManhwa asked a question

Those chinese BL manhuas where the Seme first love comes back and then the Uke is pushed aside, and then he decides to leave and the seme realizes he loves him.

MsManhwa asked a question

Can someone send me the link please

Its a BL about a uke who believes he is cursed because he is cute, so he does everything to avoid being cute, the seme asks him to teach about sex, so he agrees believing he will be the top, and the seme has white hair

MsManhwa asked a question

Does anyone know any stories where the MC dies (for good) and the entire plot is anout the MLs regret and redemption after the MCs death.

MsManhwa asked a question

1. If the only way you can make your end couple end up together after years of denying their feelings is to use another character to trigger jealousy and fear of losing, its lazy writing

2. Majority of semes and ukes in BL.are exactly the same character just with different looks and names. Unqiue characters dont exist

3. Your character doesn't have to be extremely flawed to be a good character. Imo.a character can be written perfect and still be a good character, why do we always need a character with a dark or traumatic past to make them interesting

4..Cherry Blossoms after winter is not a step brothers to lovers trope. I absolutely hate the stepbrother trope.1. His parente didnt.get divorce and remarry they died and 2. The Seme's mom never officially adopted him (as far as I remembe), so he legally didnt become her son and Haebom and Taesung didnt ruin anyones marriage

5. Its annoying when characters will make a statement example "I dont want kids" but then the author will make them have a child because they met a man or an alpha. (In BJ Alex the 2nd couple, the uke says he likes cute younger guys but he then he ends up with someone older, I know its petty but it still annoyed me)

MsManhwa asked a question

Ive always wondered why people are so obsessed with the "First Love Trope" maybe its because people are conditioned to believe first love equates to soulmates, no matter how toxic or emotionally draining the relationship, people.alwasy go back to the saying "love hurts" but I can never agree with this

I always want the healthier love not perfect love, cause I feel like people confuse this and its not the same.

Toxic relationships have been disguised as passionate and fiery in media for so long because it brings drama and intensity, it frustrates me how normalized it is. Especially when characters dont have proper growth, ive rarely come across good redemption arcs.

As a women, Ive never been sold on the "I can fix him" "I can turn a badboy into a good mab" and "he hates everyone but me" tropes but so many, ot honestly feels.like 98% of women are and I will never understand why..of course to each their own but ai just dont get it.

MsManhwa asked a question

I love pairings that no one sees coming, its always exciting to see how the author Will develop their relationship, especially when its super taboo (BUT IF ITS CHEATING OR ANYTHING TO.DO WITH PSEUDO-INCEST or even normal.incesr I dont want to read it.).

Examples of couple pairings that were so random:
MY SUHA - his friend x red head
LOVE IS AN ILLUSION - Hyesung friend x toxic ex

Can you please give me some recommendations

MsManhwa created a topic of A Man Who Gives It All

Im not up for a poly relationship unless the semes sleep with each other.

So my question is who would be the top Heeseop or the other one (I forgot his name)

MsManhwa created a topic of Jinx

Jaekyung just had his Jiwon moment.

This is a perfect cliffhanger. Im eager to read the next chapter but Im gonna stay strong and let more chapters release.

MsManhwa asked a question

Things I don't understand

1. In queer romance why is pseudo-incest glorified. Its so common, I dont understand and the only reason people don't care is because they aren't blood related.

2. Why do people hate characters like Joo Jaekyung but than love characters like Zhenya, Ceaser and Sangwoo

3.Expecting the uke to like the seme, because the seme is in love with him, especially in friends to lovers trope. I forgot the name but the seme has the uke blindfolded and before he grapes him, he takes the blindfold off and then he keeps forcing the uke and eventually the uke starts liking him..WEIRD!!!

4. Why women are written so badly in BL

5. Ukes getting slut shamed, like he's not even dating the seme..he can sleep.sith who he wants, he doesnt owe the seme loyalty.

6. The obsession with love triangles in asian media, im not at all sayinh it doesnt apply to any other continents but Ive noticed how popular it is in kdramas, manhwas, manga ect.

7. Staying together because of a kid..for once I wanna see the uke leave the biological father and end up with someone else..

MsManhwa asked a question

I think I finally get why the "friends to lovers" trope doesn’t click with me. Sure, it’s popular and lots of people love it, and I’ve even come across a few good examples that I enjoyed. But overall, it just doesn’t excite me.

The main reason is that it feels too easy. The characters already know each other, already have a bond, so the story skips the fun of building a relationship from scratch. Most of the drama comes from them being scared to mess up the friendship, which is a bit overused.

On the flip side, I find it way more interesting when two strangers or people who only know each other casually, like coworkers or neighbors, end up falling in love. That kind of relationship has to be built piece by piece, and the challenge makes it feel more rewarding.

I notice the same thing in love triangle stories. Usually, one love interest is someone the main character already knows, while the other is new. Readers often lean toward the “safe” choice, the one with the history, just because it feels familiar. But for me, that’s exactly what makes the “newcomer romance” more exciting. It feels less predictable.
