As we’re getting closer to the end, i’m gonna drop some wise words here; don’t put too much hope on Passion ending as it will leave you with a “that’s it?” feelings. up until now, i still can’t get over this first novel bcs fym the last 3 chapters were taeui got graped out of misunderstanding + his own mistakes and then boom, it ended? the author could have put at least 1-2 more chapters of them actually talk it out properly instead of taeui refused to explain it properly and just resolved with a short explanation like “i didn’t try to run away from you” and for ilay to just respond akin to “huh, oh” and just that. honestly the last 3 chapters were so dry and abrupt, very different from 10 chapters beforehand where ilay basically declared his devotion to taeui by throwing out everything to save him and taeui finally confessed, it was a good moment but then the fallout was crazy, combined with that kind of ending. so just don’t put a high hope as their real romantic arc started on second novel; diasim. first novel (Passion) is just them tiptoeing on eo and exploring their feelings, nothing more.
hoping the artist also decides to pick up diasim, tho the first novel itself was a long project for her so i doubt it

yess their relationship got so much better as ilay started to give more space to taeui and taeui himself started to fall for ilay in a normal way but i have to mention that to see all those cute romance, we have to pay a big price as well bcs Diasim is actually a very controversial novel in this Passion fandom. it’s all bcs there will be a second main couple (richard x christoph) in there and it involved with both ilay x taeui bcs christoph actually wanted taeui and richard is ilay’s friend in business (richard is also chris’s distant cousin). there will be a lot of grapes between the second couple, forced situations between ilay and taeui bcs of those second couple (one scene where ilay has to hit taeui and there’s also one dub con scene bcs of richard’s situation) hardcore violence between all of them and hardcore psychological, stuff in that novel is disturbing as it implied incest as well.
so no grape between ilay x taeui (though there’s one dub con scenes bcs they got entangled with richard) and yes to many love talk.
i can very much say that ilay x taeui relationship is cuter and passionate in that novel but keep in mind most people in this fandom completely skipped Diasim as it’s disturbing and jump to read Suite instead bcs that’s a whole lot better novel as it’s just about them both.
