I’ve read lots of yaoi, but I’ve never seen a relationship as toxic as this one. Mot once! I mean, I have, but they all were very obviously framed as bad. How’re you all not realizing the toxicity here? The seme raped the uke and manipulated him endlessly. This is bad! If you’re looking at this thinking, “this is so cute”, I highly recommend you change your ideals.

I'm glad people noticed his behavior. Because during the story after the seme raped the uke. I wasn't fine with how he was treating the uke, but even to think that the rape scene was just brushed over with so fast. Like there was clear manipulation in the way he handled things even if they decided to be together in the end. The story is just normalizing rape and toxic relationships. This ain't right at all

Like I see everyone here making the excuse of “oh,, it was common for the time!!” No the fuck it wasn’t. It was uncommon and looked down upon to marry off your young child to someone older than them. Did that mean it never happened? No. But that didn’t make it okay. If people in the 1500s can acknowledge that, so can we.
I mean like, idk about other places but all the men where I’m at are mostly hairy AF. I guess it’s just in manga they never draw any of the hair aside from pubic hair and head hair, weirdly enough.
East asian men usually have no body hair and if they do it's very sparse.
as an asian myself i can confirm this true ^u^
From my experience, can confirm this is generally true. A lot of my male Japanese colleagues have little/no body hair on their chest/arms but then you get to the below the knee area and it's hairy city lmao
