I started it today and read it through...
Even though that foreigner character I think Manteuk (?) appeared shortly, I really liked him... I was mostly sad about his death more than Manny kinda.
I wonder whether Manny considered both of them as friends? Or if he really threatened with hurting his son to provoke him only? Whatever it is, I feel sad that Manny never really was able to learn the complete truth...
About the Dad, well it sounds awful but in the end I felt pity for him. I was honestly really interested in his backstory. How he became the person he became and how he even thought about marrying someone? I don't know these things were really interesting for me to know.
All in all, I liked every character. I was really struggling if I liked Manny or not because he wasn't a real friend. Pretending to not know at school to keep his cool? But when he was a cripple himself he is OK being friends because everyone else left him...? Idk, he was just an OK chara for me.
When I was around Chapter 30 I really wondered what the point was with her having been a woman in her late 20s (?) when she actually behaves like a child...?
Now seeing this update once again what was the point? As many have commented that the story is bland, I agree.
I also find her really annoying. Now that she has escaped to experience the outside she really gets so bad as a character, as a daughter, as an adult (very questionable).
Her harem is pretty good looking and all but they are way too good for her altogether honestly.
The most pitiful I find are obviously the Dad and Minjae.
Yes, Minjae killed Eunsung.
But knowing about his past, it's a wonder that he didn't commit suicide. And actually managed to get over the trauma somewhat or at least push it away replacing it with the deceiving love of the Dad.
Yes, he kind of caused that kid to jump from the rooftop. I found it pitiful how much he was willing to do to protect his Dad who didn't care about him.
I'm glad that the Dad didn't go with more casualties like killing Minjae's friend.
I had already seen it that the Dad would kill himself at the end when he mentioned that he wanted Minjae to lose what is the most important to him.
The conclusions is just whoa. I didn't think the Dad would put Minjae's hands on the knife to have his fingerprints on it. I guess he wanted Minjae to spend time in prison for Eunsung's death and his own miserable demise...
I like both of them very much as characters. Both of them pretty much fucked up from what they have lived through and experienced...

I hope he gets a more important role in the story. I mean those visuals aren't for nothing... right?
