It’s obvious at this point that some readers lack media literacy and would have complained no matter which direction the story took. This is a complex narrative , the characters aren’t your typical cookie-cutter MC or ML. The author is intentionally portraying Jiho’s brokenness and mental instability and how it affects both him and those around him, in a very realistic way. Meanwhile, Yujun, who is both devoted and deeply craving love, is trying to make their relationship work.
The story is literally tagged “psychological.” If what you want is rainbows and sunshine, there are plenty of other stories out there. No one is stopping you from reading something else. But complaining every single chapter is ruining the experience for those of us who genuinely appreciate the depth and direction of this story.
