While I was reading the summary it kinda sounded familiar to this ABC show called Splinter where in a select few cases they have this girl look into the memories of dead people to solve their murders. Of course the supernatural part is not included in the show and there is a certain amount of time they have before the memory part of the brain can no longer be used after death.

Well people they are in what we called the "honeymoon" phase as the moment, but all I can say is they deserve it.
