Why is it that in most stories if there are bad rumours about the fl, the ml will be the most insufferable person towards her. But if there are rumours about the ml, the fl will just be a bit skeptical and maybe hurt.

But tbh, more so often in a lot if works, the FL also jumps to conclusion and believe the rumors. They will either act to scared of the ml and try to hide and plot escape.
Sometimes they will also be the first one to judge
My take wasn't that the FL DOESN'T judge, but that her treatment of the ML won't extend to being mean as hell. While if it's the other way around, the ML would treat the FL like she personally murdered his mother or something.
partly bc of misogyny. if a woman is a bad person then you can treat her as badly as you want, if a man is a bad person, then as a woman, you'll be scared for your safety bc you'll be the first victim. bc most of the time, the woman's bad reputation comes from being spoiled, promiscuous or mean, while the man's bad reputation comes from being a monster on the battlefield, treating his subordinates like trash and destroying other ppl's lives by firing or killing them or their family members. it's not the same weight.

The og2ndML shouldn't end up with the mc. Like, how do you just get past all that? Even when he wasn't being influenced by the ogFL, he was still such an annoying character that refused to accept that she was alone in their house. He was stubborn for the sake of it.
He’s being controlled all the time? Now that she’s breaking the hold the author has he’s been amazing? Considering a lot he’s a very good romantic partner, it isn’t really his fault he’s being controlled and told what to think.
Why is everyone just mean to her for no reason??? Like even before the whole criminal thing, her whole group just left her in the dark. Then after the criminal thing, I know they think she's a bad person, but can't they see that she was extremely lost?? They literally had no doubts and just proceeded to treat her like a nuisance.
Literally... They r being hostile for NO reason AT ALL. Like what did my girl even do? They r acting as if she is a witch or sumthing.. it would've made more sense if they thought she was a witch because of how pretty she was and a lot of men were seduced by her, resulting in everyone isolating/betraying her.... But everything happened so fast and they abandoned her right there and then. I'm confused with Fabian too, he's one of those characters that I DESPISES SO MUCH where they say they love the fl sooo muchhh but also act like a dog on a leash to another woman. I'm still confused why everybody hated the fl sm, so if this does not get cleared up then it's a massive plot hole from the author.
Her being trapped and oblivious her whole life and the ml being a carefree guy who gives her the idea to escape and leads her
I read till like chapter 30 but I don't have it in me to finish. But I need to know why her previous life was the way it was. Why the Duke just trusted the villain, whether the villain is actually related to her, why her power wasn't manifesting, etc.
It's kinda boring, honestly. They keep showing the relationship between her and the ml, but not really any other progress that is relevant/progress that is relevant but is just swept under the rug.
