****Note for new readers, don't read chapters 1-152. Skip those. Start on the chapter 1 onwards after chapter 152, because those have better translations.**
I think the story was pretty cute. It's a straightforward story, some conflicts (jealously) but overall, it's not serious and there's a lot of comedy. I think the author is a GENIUS in drawing the mini versions that are used as comedy. They're so cute and relatable.
While reading, I thought Taemu was so damn slick lol he's literally slithering his way around Hari. I like that he changes from being someone who's a workaholic to someone dedicated to the person he loves.
Moving onto Hari, if I was in her position (pretending to someone else while working with your boss), I would shit my pants lol

The first half of this story made me SOOO FUCKING PISSED because communication and trust is not a thing. Nonexistent. Youngmin makes some decisions that made me HATE how dumb he was thinking. Literally. First he gets raped, then to hide it from Jungwoo, he agrees to suck his rapist’s dick for agreement of silence. If his goal was to not hurt Jungwoo then congratulations, you fucking failed buddy, because doing everything you just did to hide everything will hurt him more than anything you planned to do to not hurt him. How did he not realize how backwards his plan was!!!!! Plus, what if his rapist decides to use the “secret” as leverage and continue a sexual relationship, what then???? Was Youngmin just going to go with it because “it will hurt Jungwoo if he finds out”????? I- Being blackmailed to service someone else in order to not reveal that you had sex with someone else, is literally the dumbest shit. Youngmin’s decisions made me want to shake him and yell at him to fucking STOP because nothing he did will help with anything. Also, the fact that the truth had to be revealed by the rapist himself, instead of Youngmin taking the lead, is like a slap to Jungwoo’s face. No one wants to hear their boyfriend slept with someone from the person themselves, even worse it being rape. And then to deal with that rapist, Jungwoo gets his father involved. Boom, problem fixed.
Anyway, once all of that shit was done with, the rest of the story just focused on the abundance of misunderstandings about their relationship. And yes, still no communication. They break up like one more time and realize they can’t live without each other and get back together again. With lots of sex. At one point I thought why don’t these two actually sit down to talk about things rather than getting moist. Since they have so many things to talk about. So many extras (characters) in this story are annoying. Like I would gladly take the name of a serial murderer if I can end them all.
Their relationship overall is okay, I guess, once they start communicating correctly and getting over other people’s dumbass opinions about their relationship. They just really need to have that long talk without sex. The one thing that bothered me a lot though was Jungwoo and his lack of self awareness as he threw money at Youngmin’s face like it’s his. They established that the money was his fathers. Jungwoo isn’t even a good student and he doesn’t want to work either. He gets thrown out at one point and crashes at Youngmin’s for a month and half. Any money he has to spoil Youngmin with can be cut at any moment. He pays for Youngmin’s tuition, buys him expensive gifts, and gets an apartment for him. Like cool dude, but it’s kind of shameful that you’re using your family’s money to spoil your lover. In the end he also gets Youngmin a job at his dad’s company. Basically, aside from Youngmin’s part time jobs and his background, he gets a full ride scholarship in life. Jungwoo is way too spoiled by his dad. I personally think he needs discipline and learns to value money. If not, then their relationship IS essentially a sugar daddy/baby relationship. Because Jungwoo gives Youngmin all these things and all Youngmin needs to do is stay in love with him. When they broke up, Youngmin moved back to his home with his family, out of that expensive apartment. Tell me in what relationship where you get all these extravagant things then when the relationship is over, you basically go back to being broke. Like yes they’re in love and their relationship is not based on transactions, but it blurs the line when you literally want your lover to depend on you for all money issues (not to mention when that money isn’t even yours).
Overall, good read. If you like sex scenes and mundane life situations (caused by misunderstandings and further aggravate by lack of communication) then this is for you.

Spoilers
I think what this story does well is get you fucking pissed. The damn shitty school system that protects the bullies, the damn bullies, the non-bullies shitty ass classmates that like to gossip. So many rats everywhere, it’s like disgusting sewage. But it’s not just that though, the story really gets you rooting for people because their life just sucks so much, I guess.
I really like the whole fiasco with their previous school and them now, and also how their relationship developed. You don’t get anything concrete until mid-way through when you realize, ah shit, something is smelling fishy between these two. And then little things get revealed at a time to show why they can be so close yet maintain an outer sibling relationship. Junhyuk definitely fell first and Hanmi maintained the sibling connection as best she can until she didn't anymore.
After the reveal between the moms, we know that Hanmi and Junhyuk may be blood related relatives or second cousins rather than cousins, which I think is far enough apart in the family tree (but it seems korean laws prohibit blood relation marriages/relationships) but that isn’t the weird part for me. I think even if you are blood related, it isn’t the blood that makes you related, it’s the environment and connection. Adopted siblings don’t have blood but as long as you grew up in the same environment as family, that connection is there. If two blood related persons are separated, they don’t have that same environment and connection, so even if they are blood related, the situation is completely different.
Junhyuk and Hanmi's blood relation is fine in my eyes, but the fact that they grew up in the same household and still end up liking each other in the end, that’s what’s a little weird to me. Granted Junhyuk never viewed them as “family” and is only very grateful for taking him in, but Hanmi on the other hand definitely thought of him as a brother and he was very important to her that way. Her feelings changing later after that fact makes me tingly. Not saying their relationship didn’t develop well. I can think it’s a lil weird and still like how it ended.
Anyway, moving onto characters.
Seonghwa or whatever his name, if he was having such a successful business, if he had just SHUT THE FUCK UP and minded his damn business, I would imagine he’d be able to get away with his crimes and keep making that cashola. But no, he wanna be a nosy ass bitch rubbing his own ego dick that he thought he could get away with it again, by provoking the very same person he knows is capable of using her head. FR. Like sure, people gotta make a living somehow, but no dude, not with your shit mindset. He is truly a despicable person, glad he got what he DESERVED.
Yueun is honestly the MVP in this story. She’s such a supporting friend and doesn’t hesitate to risk her safety to help a friend out. Her and her bob hair girlfriend are so adorable. Of course I didn’t like bob hair girl at first cuz she showed signs of manipulation and even attempted to get Hanmi beat. But people change so she is forgiven. Same to Hanmi as well. She was manipulated into becoming the worst person but she’s attempting to change for the people she cares about so her past actions I can forgive too.
Junhyuk is an interesting character. He’s on the down low throughout half the story dealing with his own business while also trying to keep track of Hanmi’s. He really kept the boundaries even though it’s so clear his thirst for Hanmi is overflowing. His reactions toward Hanmi in the beginning wasn’t fishy at all but I can only imagine what goes on his mind as they pretend to date. Boy must’ve been exploding every time oof.
Their hesitation was completely understandable though. Incestual relationships are WAY worse than any other type of relationship, imo. But it’s funny that at the end of it all, it’s still Hanmi that wraps her arms around Junhyuk even though he’s the one that fell first. We support strong female characters in this house and I am gay for her. If Junhyuk was never gonna confess, I’ll gladly take his place lmao.
Overall, very good read. I might have to reread now that I know everything. This will help catch all the details I might have missed or misinterpreted the first time.

So I’m sure they’re gonna give the sick bro his backstory to explain his behavior but since I don’t know it yet, can he like just die already??? Lol. he’s miserable as is, end his suffering already my god
Update: ahh I see. So the gist is basically Jua is a sick ill mf and Kun has to take care of him all the time so the one time he dips to have some freedom (or perhaps multiple times after he’s tasted that freedom), lil Jua gets beat up (and perhaps been beat up multiple times but Kun was too busy enjoying freedom to notice) so Jua blames him and Kun also blames himself. Sigh. This is why family murder each other and the unsick sibling feels like crap all the time because the sick sibling is given extra care. Amen to their story. At this point I hope it can only get better.
Update update: ah shit I wasn’t even close. I’ll just give up. I’m getting too stressed over all this mess
Didn’t check the cover carefully so I didn’t notice she’s half naked, nor did I check the tags, so didn’t see the smut. Thought this was cute as I read the first chapter. Mid way through and I get BOOBS in my face. So I recheck the cover and tags. Lmfao.
