I don't know, wasn't feeling it for me. I get the author was trying to educate and create a story but it didn't really hit for me. I thought they did too much telling and less showing. Before anything happens, a character basically explains why/how something happened to cause the current event. I'm not talking about the DID stuff, that is fine, I'm referring to when both characters reveal information from long ago or information that wasn't available to readers. Instead of just showing a couple scenes with good transitions, characters have to explain the scenes. Also I get the feeling that the story was being created as they go (it probably isn't, but that's just what I felt when I was reading). I felt a disconnect between chapters because aspects of some future chapters didn't really connect with previous chapters. It's like oh yeah this something is actually here and relevant now, when it wasn't really mentioned in previous chapters. But you just have to believe it's relevant. That kind of story telling doesn't work for me, personally.
Moving on to the DID stuff. I can see the author is portraying it as a serious disorder and there's trauma behind every alter, but at the same time, in some moments it's been downplayed as some form of gimmick? Like oh it's cute that they switched back and forth, this is basically a threesome. The switch back and forth in convenient moments just to show something hot or cute. I feel like those are littered everywhere in this manga and although not bad per se to have a little fun, but I don't think it's good either in these instances.

idk i feel like she really wanted out of that abusive relationship that she stopped caring about her kid. the fact that she didn't even question him when he said hyesung doesn't wanna see her. i feel like if she had any attachment to hyesung, she would've at least considered that what he said could be a lie. but she just believed him. she found a route to escape and took it, without considering hyesung, imo. i think he has every right to not want to meet or forgive her. i'm glad Byul won't be put through the same thing.
isayama pulled a sparknotes chapter.
Lamo so true
