Someone explain the ending to me Aaaaa. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ ┗( T﹏T )┛
The Uke choose to stay with with the brother cause he was guilty about the brother’s mother death, cause he explained that he caused the death because probably due to shock and stress he gave to the mother by telling her everything about him and the brothers relationship.
When the ex-lover tried to stop him from allowing the younger brother to get close to him, he explained “ he is the only one who can forgive me” mainly due to the fact that he was a coward and can’t possibly risk of explaining everything to the father and he doubt that the father will forgive him. So they kinda let the younger brother get all the blame while he is caged to the younger brother due to guilt and fear.
He did not end up with the ex-lover because as the Ex said he was letting the right answer slip away again. Meaning like before he did not ask further again nor try to save the uke from the younger brother in the right time thus not preventing the cycle of the brothers relationship from happening again
What’s the difference between this one and the othe opm drawn by Murata?
Ah- storywise tho, this had a less build-up because it had a faster pace/ it's straight-to-the-point/ less serious? (imo). The one made by Murata had more flow/build up/atmosphere so I found it more intense and more shounen-like.
In short, I'd say this is like the rough version (still enjoyable since it has it's own charm); while the one made by Murata feels more polished (story and visually)
This is the original source while Murata's version is an adaptation of this.
If you care more about action and looks more than story then read Murata's version of One Punch Man. It is oriented around impact and flashy fight to deliver "Badass" troupe. Meanwhile, this one is focus on the story.
Personally speaking, I actually prefer this one over Murata's version.
Murata's version used to follow the story of the original down to the core. Which made it flowed more smoothly and the characters were more consistent. But after Murata decided to deviate, the story felt more like a flashy shounen manga than that of ONE PUNCH MAN.
It has too many fillers and portrays some of the characters in a different light from the original. Which cause the characters to be inconsistent with their starting nature. Not to mention that some characters in Murata's version doesn't even exist in this one.
I'm a person who prefer good story telling over looks. I care more about the characters being consistent and the story flowing in a progressive and logical pace than for the art to be good. Thus, I like this version of One Punch Man more.

This should be shounen ai tbh ╥﹏╥. Author-san can’t you see the chemistry they both have? (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Nahhhhh at this point I ship Tanaka and Shiraishi!
tragic, flop
Shounen ai is still always gonna be there though :D I just like seeing Tanaka be flustered :D You can't get that with those two :/
