I don’t know if you guys are new to revenge books but this is exactly what I expected. It’s good to recognise that grooming is wrong but don’t go around saying that the book isn’t a good one. Y’all probably read all them questionable Yaoi or other taming a child, sure not comparing it to grooming but don’t act holier than thou please.

Also if you don’t like evil fl then drop please. I’ve been waiting for an evil fl since forever and I personally like them together. They seem like a power couple, you know burn the world for you kinda couple. I love that she never strayed from her goal because let’s be honest it’s annoying when fls forget the years of torment for ‘love’. Also Dylan isn’t an idiot, he knew what she was doing. He started to notice her after she helped let his mum die happily, which is not that different from other FLs who do stuff to manipulate other characters to help them later on.

I don't think, people are saying they don't like revenge books, but there's no nuance to her revenge, and there are a ton of plot holes, nonsense and no character development for her. and we're allowed to think this story over all is missing something, and if she ends up with this kid after everything, it's totally grooming. The only redeeming thing about this book is the art. There are a lot better female evil stories, that have done a way better job than this one.

I’m not saying she didn’t groom him but she’s definitely not the first. Every single baby FL book grooms the ML. I’m just saying that no one had a problem in the beginning, I’m sorry but it would never be realistic for her to change her plans, she was a sword for millenniums. It’s stupid for her to even think of changing her plans. But all in all I agree that everyone is allowed to have an opinion
Still pissed at the author for not having a psychological tag but it’s cool. Good story just wish I was better prepared for the trauma coz let’s be honest this is trauma porn. He should be happy by now, his gf likes him, he has great friends but nooooo every story needs trauma
I think the story in itself is very realistic in portraying the emotions it's not easy for them especially at their young age to overcome such trauma even with new friends and a girlfriend it's going to be hard for him to overcome such a traumatizing event idk if you read the part but even to me it was very traumatizing they recorded him as they SA'd him that's something I would remember for the rest of my life especially knowing that he didn't tell anyone about it or get therapy especially knowing the guy who did that is still out there
Nice take. I agree for the most part, my beef is just not warning readers. My baby is going through so much SA is just disgusting behaviour, hope those guys are brought to justice at least
No fr cause I would've loved a warning too I don't do so well with psychological stuff I get so heated anyway yk if they let that gremlin go after the first suicide they weren't gonna lock him up over the SA especially following korean law that kids under 14 won't get charged for anything even if it's murder cause cases like this have happened leading to suicide and nothing was done especially because the perpetrators were underage.
NO ACTUALLY I WAS NOT PREPATED GOR ANY OF TJIS?? I’m gonna gaslight myself into thinking none of this happened Ty
Accidentally voted up but i dont agree at all, trauma stick to someone it isnt as easy as simply : "oh you’re happy now ? Good your past trauma dont matter" Yeonwoo showed clear sign of trauma from the beginning and its actually very realistic
I’m not saying the story doesn’t make sense. Makes perfect sense for how much anxiety he has whenever his gender identity is brought up. My beef is just with the incorrect tags used. Anyone who started this book came for the fluff or role reversal so they weren’t properly prepared for the SA. I’ve read way more traumatising stuff than this but I just wasn’t prepared for it. Plus he doesn’t have to be SAd for trauma , his anxiety could’ve also been explained by bullying, or just internal anxiety from people getting his gender wrong constantly. My beef is just with the author, I enjoy the book though. Praying for his abusers to be brought to justice, would be pissed if the author didn’t at least do that
I agree the tag should be put on, but its not about NEEDING sa. The author wanted this to be apart of his character and i think its good to have some male sa rep however i do agree the psychological tag should be put in
