Excellent betrayal & revenge story. Finally witnessing a strong and competent FL in this genre was a delightful breath of fresh air. Main story Completed, binged in a day. Only way this story would be any better is if there was an explicitly violent endgame and smut, but it still stands as an good read regardless.
Too early to comment on the story just yet but I like this artist's drawing style. Shame the smut is censored because they draw pretty genitalia.

But I can't help but feel that Danel's twisted obsession with Laurea has reached its limit of accentuation. I was beyond disappointed to find him drugging her because it's utterly unnecessary for a husband to hide the fact that he gets off with just his wife’s existence alone. Seriously, I haven't been involved with anyone who didn't appreciate being woken up in such a manner. But, I guess such dispicable acts are supposed to underscore his character here.
Furthermore, I would have liked to see more emphasis on the brother's jealousy and complete lack of love for Laurea. Such as, making that point across in a deviously sinister context to captivate a suspenseful sense of rage for his character from readers. I mean, the fact that he ghosted her pisses me off more than anything else going on here is despairing.
Nonetheless, I am thoroughly enjoying this plot, and can easily dismiss my thoughts on if Danel were routinely dicking Laurea down, while she's actually conscious, his dubious transgressions concerning his punk ass little brother wouldn't have ever gotten on her radar to begin with, lol.
Still, I'm hooked and need more chapters asap.
