I was expecting this, ngl. With how the past few episodes have been going I was waiting for a Korean to die. Because, lbr, members of the Japanese squad dying did not tug any heartstrings. I think most readers were feeling panicked about how the Japanese hunters death meant trouble because there is an ant in the loose who kills S ranked hunters in just a snap.
I think a korean hunters death was needed to give this arc more drama and emotions and imo the most painful death would be the healers (and i hate that i was right gdi). BUT LISTEN HIS DEATH IS PRETTY SAD. HE RETIRED OKAY. HE RETIRED FROM BEING A HUNTER BECAUSE HE STATED THAT THE HUNTER LIFE WAS NOT FOR HIM, THAT FIGHTING WASNT FOR HIM AND THE PAST JEJU BATTLE JUST CEMENTED THAT THOUGHT FOR HIM. SO HE RETIRED AND LIVED A NORMAL LIFE. BUT HE CAME BACK TO JEJU ISLAND FOR A FINAL BATTLE I DUNNO TO AVENGE HIS COMRADES WHO DIED? FOR KOREA? BECAUSE ITS HIS DUTY? HE'S A GOOD GUY SO WE KNOW HE HAD GOOD INTENTIONS. BUT THEN HE DIES. LIKE DOESNT THAG JUST HURT?? Here is a good dude who left retirement to fight for his country and his fellow hunters and HE DIES....

He didn't come out of retirement for revenge or duty, he went because he thought he could keep his friend alive. His friend was talking about dying on that island and I don't think he could bare it knowing that he had the power to keep his friend alive and not going.
THE NEW CHAPTER HAS DONE SO MANY THINGS TO MY KOKORO. After do many chapters of deprovation I finall see the gang and TSUKKKIIIIIII ಥಒಲಥಥಒಲಥ Yall have no idea how happy I am. love to see the snippets like wow Daichi's a cop and it suits him so much, Suga is a teacher which is such a Suga career. And Tadashi, my child, has grown so much. And Tsuki, cute tsundere Tsuki, is still llaying vb and js gonna start working soon. My heart is full, I'm so happy... oםooםo
AND YES!!! IVE BEEN HOPING FOR THIS A BATTLE AGAINST KAGEYANA AND HINATA!!! THIS HAS GONE FULL CIRCLE!! The story started with a fight between them so it is fitting for it to end in the same way. Just look at them. They went from strangers, to enemies, to friends, and now they gonna fight it out in the court.
Just... wow I'm so happy.
THE ONE THING I REALLY WISHED TO SEE BEFORE HAIKYUU ENDS WAS A CHANGE IN DYNAMICS. NEW TEAMS, NEW RIVALS- not because of new characters but because the characters have formed new teams now.

I think just like how Naruto and Sasuke had their great fight, Haikyuu should have an official Hinata vs Kageyama before it ends. It would be fitting. They met at the court- the start of Haikyuu, sworn rivals that became the best of friends, now that they ade older and more experienced, I'd love to see a serious fight between them. I just might cry seeing that ( ඉ . ඉ )

Not gonna lie... this was not what I hoped for. I wanted to see Hinata as a senior, go to college, team up with other players, and face off Kageyama on the court. I always thought a battle between Kageyama and Hinata would be a grea ending- my version of a full circle.
I hoped for more Yamaguchi, the other second years to shine more. But not that this is bad. At least we get to see what they do years later, how they've matured and all that. The way their volleyball journey played out is also realistic. Most sports anime make it so that the mc always win at the end, but Haikyuu to the very end showed that the manga was never focused about winning but shkwing the readers the love for the game- volleyball.
I did not expect this 5 year jump. The "Final ARC" at the first page feels like a slap to the face. I thought I had a few years more with Haikyuu... knowing this will be the last arc makes me really sad. Its bitter sweet to know the manga you've been reading for the betterpart of 3 years is gonna end. Im gonna have a hard time saying goodbye to this manga.
Yes! THIS! ;__; Yamaguchi is one of my favorite Characters so I really would have loved to see him become the captain. And like more character development.
Also Ennoshita deserved some more "screentime" i feel like was kinda build up to be more important after the 3rd years would leave but..i'm not the author so i respect whatever he will do with the story! °^°
Also..i have some weird headcanons that i can only wish for: Tanaka now has HAIR! °^°
and i wanna see oikawa and bokuto and kuro and..EVERYONE ;__; PLS DON'T FORGET ANY OF THE OTHER BOIS ;__;
Yes ( ඉ . ඉ ) All the bois... my boi Kenma... my beloved Kuro and Bokuto... I'll miss Iwa and Oikawa's banter. Reading the manga felt like makinh new friends. All the people Karasuno have met have become such an imoortant part of my life. Haikyuu makes you like and love all the characters which is why its hard to say goodbye to the manga... its saying goodbye to so many people you've come to know and love
Oh no ;—; im gonna miss them so much! You just made me realize how many awesome characters this manga has. I‘m afraid that furudate sensei will not be able to show everyone of them and that’s what’s making me so sad. I would have really liked to see them slowly growing up but this will now not really be possible. Oh no..I kinda feel depressed now xD but..i‘m also kinda excited to see what will happen next. I wanna see kageyama and how’s he doing. (I hope he is still a weird angry blueberry) and I wanna see Natsu. How awesome would it be if she‘s kinda getting interested in volleyball too? :o (i‘m Not sure how old she is now but..still! XD)

I'm one of those people who read the drama and then looked for the manhwa.
Boi am I happy I read this. The drama was just... wow it doesnt even compare to how beautiful the manhwa is. I cant believe the drama changed so much of the original storyline. A lot of things were left out which made it hard to connect with the characters. The series focused on and overdramatized a lot of scenes. I can finally appreciate the plot and characters after reading the manhwa.
Im also happy that the Fairy has a better role here. Also, his story is pretty sad. I AM PISSED THAT HIS STORY HASNT BEEN SHOWN IN THE DRAMA YET. ALSO WHY IS HIS CHARACTER IN THE DRAMA SHADY AF AND HERE HE IS THIS SWEET CHARACTER THAT GIVES THEM GREAT ADVISE??!!? HOW COULD HIS ROLE BE SO DIFFERENT??

I know the story probably ended bec they ended up together given the titke is Path to you... but i was really hoping for a season 2 which would focus more on their relationship. for one, their struggles as a couple, with communication, hiding and then coming out to their friends and family, jealousy and earning each others trust, etc.
i love the story i really do i just wished their was more.
