Okay here's what I see. He's obvious the possessive type, so I think that he wants to hurt Jaehyun (indirectly) enough to make him feel helpless and lonely, so that he could come save the day. Then he'll reassure Jaehyun that he's always there for him and won't leave like Eunsung did. Atleast that's what's happened in a lot of mangas. So all in all, he loves Jaehyun but in a fucked up way
