It sucks that J never loved Makoto, but it's supposed to be an endless cycle. Wald never loved J, and J took his life with his greed (not intentionally). Makoto, with that same greed, took J without being loved back. Now it'll repeat itself with some new players and some old. It looks like Fjord will take on the place of Datensho as someone close to M and running the brothel, but K also seems like he'll take on that role because of his obsession.
I think Fjord somewhat admitted to feeling something slightly more than friendship than friendship though. That's what I got from it when he had to remind himself that demons fall if they fall in love and admitting that M's eyes also locked him in.
I actually think Wald did love J like a son, but that's not the type of love J wanted from him.

I don't think Fjord has feelings beyond friendship for Makoto. He was saying he would be ruined if Makoto ever tried to make him fall for him (not that he's in love him). Also, with the eyes think the feeling Makoto gave J and Fjord was fear; Fjord was saying that he understood what J was referring to when he said Makoto's look would scare him
Alec deserved that ending. I want immediate gratification but thinking back on it, this is perfect (I just want more bad things to happen in addition to that).
He now lives in a loveless marriage like his father. He saw what it looked like from his mother's side, now he gets to experience it for himself. This is what he gets for forcing his ideals onto her and using her as a scapegoat. Not once has he asked her for her opinion on anything. Basically he never saw her as her own person, just an extension of his fantasies.

1. Hana and Miko both come from priestess bloodlines. Miko's ability to see the ghastly figures so clearly and Hana with the ability to purify them. I think they'll work together on exorcisms when Hana learns about her power.
2. The "middle aged" man that Romm said isn't really a random middle aged man ghost may appear that way to Miko because he's currently a low threat level. It looks like he's getting closer to hernamd he may change to what Romm sees when he does. But that makes me wonder something else...
3. What if Miko's ability came from her father? I was between Romm:s response about the picture, the man also showing up in the dad's picture, and how ghost dad is oddly comfortable with a monstrous looking spirit got me thinking about it.
I do think bloodlines do have a factor into this but not 100% sure if miko's father has direct ties to it

And maybe the ghost that is with her father is also like a god? Since it can calm down michiro's tentacle...
But my big concern on this manga is the big guy that they woken up accidentally when they fought in the shrine ... Bc at the end of it they showed a damaged tomb with bells in it and a big shadow as big as a mountain showed up

I was wondering abt this too, i ended up making my own conclusion that they might have broken up because they're focusing too much at work and not to each other then they kissed and make up hehe

Actually the author did explain it in her Q & A because someone had asked the same question!! Go back to the chapter "afterward" and the question starts with "Will there be a side story for the side couples ji kyusung and Yeon jooha?" She gives a brief run down on them!! :))
in the afterword of s2…the author explained that Jooha became depressed and had poor self esteem after his accident to the point where he felt jealous about Kyusung with other ppl (hes working) nd so jooha broke up w him but still came back w each other (▰˘◡˘▰)

To be fair, it's not easy to just get over a life of trauma in just a year or 2. up till chapter 45, she's only been there for 2 years, which is way less than the amount of time spent in her past life.
