no that’s a picture of them from their childhood. my conclusion of this is when the rabbit said “you’re the one that tied him to fate”, it’s foreshadowing that they were soulmates all along(the snake and the wolf). That’s why the snake was so shocked in the last panel, cause he didn’t realize past them being close childhood friends
But it honestly also has those vibes of him giving birth to the wolf or something
After seeing the promo I was quite honestly the most excited I've been about the release of this manga, and I after reading it, I was not disappointed. The initial excitement, the build up, the climax, the drop, and honestly even some of the filler arcs: all of them created a gorgeous masterpiece that I will definetly read again, 1000000/10.
p.s., I ship the main guy and his best friend, theyre soooo cute together
I really liked the backstory of the leads. The flashbacks where just placed perfectly and I feel like I got a deep understanding of the characters. It's just dope
