She may not have orchestrated anything, but it seems like she also didn’t help much based on how OG Edith responded. It’s like..being rich and you do nothing to help the poor but being rich isn’t necessarily your fault. So she may feel the need to be punished because of how much she didn’t do anything and, probably by watching our FL, feels regretful that she didn’t try more

Like some people herr ignore how Megumi confessed first but the FL just shrugged it off like its nothing, well.. FL is also to be blamed... That it started with her being naived.
