Its good if the reader's annoyance comes from empathizing with the MC. I can see why he wants nothing to do with her, she's nothing but trouble. Tries to drag people into her politics and is always at risk of dying on top of being excessively self sacrificing. She's the ultimate character to stay the f*ck way from.

the ML is soooo damn sh*tty, a r*p*st, and such a bastard like TF! A whole damn red flag who doesn't care and believes whatever he want to believe... He thinks the MC is lying and has no freaking choice but to surrender coz the ML is basically a whole sh*t. Once the MC says No or resisting him, that what's make the ML become more violent and harrassing him thru s*x. Like the human decency here is basically useless.
