Hayan is trans female said and done. She explicitly said “... i’ve always wanted to be a girl” Source [Chapter 23]. And in the same chapter revealed that she WAS trying to LIVE her life as FEMALE. People thought it was perverted hence she confused herself, referring it to Crossdressing. Let me say it again- because of others she thought it was wrong to be trans and called herself perverted and her outfit crossdressing!

We can all agree the author FUCKED up in pronouns throughout, but think in the perspective of the character. Fiction or not.
