This is my second comment on this subject because the uploader is still being insensitive and selfish
This story is basically new, the first 15 chapters were published on t a p a s two weeks ago, and the uploader didn’t wait and uploaded ALL OF THEM the SAME DAY. And now she uploads the last chapters that just has 80 likes on the official platform, a few hours after the release???
Since Thirst is new and not popular on t a p a s yet, is the chance of someone uploading over you really a bigger matter than the artist lost revenue (because you don’t wait at all)??
(For more information on why not waiting is hurting this specific comic, read my previous comment http://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/9277952/ )
~ and stop racing and fighting in order to post screen-shots, this is getting ridiculous ~

So once I commented that this story gives off a western vibe and one of the minor reason I can pinpoint is that the characters often mention « God », and it’s like something important to their life (the mc saying that she is betraying God, etc). Usually, in East-Asian comics (manga, manhwa, etc) that has an European-like setting, religion is practically non existent which is not really socially/ historically accurate. You might think that since they often have a fantasy setting (it’s another world), it doesn’t matter, but not really. Traditional systems (with royalty, nobles titles, importance of bloodlines, privileges according to birth, etc) necessarly rely on religions or superstitions (the latters give the system a justification too). Hence, traditional governments in a world where spiritual believes are little to no existent can’t work (in fiction too). Though I’m not criticizing the stories that have this inconsistency when their first purpose is entertainment.
Making this manhwa’s characters religious (to some extent, since the brother is ironically the least religious lol) is a nice touch because people in the past were really like that. They didn’t have their own moral compass, but a religious moral. So it’s quite realistic (▰˘◡˘▰)
(Anyway, I study History so I am not making observations out of thin air, in case you are wondering)
I love how we all agree that this tatoo is disturbing and lame af XD
On a side note, I get the feeling that the author did intend to make a cool and badass tatoo ┗( T﹏T )┛and like it’s hard to admit that nobody among her, the assistant and the editor question this idea (⊙…⊙ )
