get your popcorn folks because the next few chapters we will be seeing lots of drama! caused by Irene.
Also, why would Chartiana ask "why did the prince send me a letter?" obviously to let you know that he's thinking about you. Specifically said he's going with Irene first because the result of the project will not be visible right away. So if you go right now, there would be nothing to see! he wants you to see what he did and be proud! sounds like he wants your approval girl!
I feel fluffy on the inside. (▰˘◡˘▰)
I love the MC family. They are so good to their daughter/sister. Even though the family doesn't have much money/power. They don't want to sell their daughter to the rich like other manga. This is something real parents must do when a daughter just wants to marry a complete stranger. I'm so proud of the mom and dad in this story.
I want to see the father's reaction to this ridiculous engagement. (ridiculous from the family's point of view) how will the duke win over the father's heart? If it's with money, I'd be very disappointed.
I'm only reading this because of Xiang Rong. She's such a sweet child. She has the best character development in this series. I love her so much!!!!! Other characters are meh.... They don't seem to have any development at all.

This is a romance adaptation of a real Vietnamese historical story of 2 ruler military general sisters. The Trưng sisters (c. AD 12 – c. AD 43) were Vietnamese military leaders who ruled for three years after rebelling in AD 40 against the first Chinese domination of Vietnam. They are regarded as national heroines of Vietnam. Their names were Trưng Trắc (徵側) and Trưng Nhị (徵貳). You can google their story and read the actual historical story, 0 to little romance in that historical story. There are Vietnamese books of their actual story as well, very inspirational. Her husband was killed by the Chinese governor who were oppressing Vietnam (I don't know if the author will follow this story). She rose up to fight a long with her sister as a revenge for her people, and for what she and her husband believed in.
So some people were wondering why the romance is going so fast. In the OLD VIETNAMESE days, unwed men and women exchange a few poem lines with one another across the street or the river (from a distance) to enact their "romance". There are very rare cases that people get to marry someone they like through these brief poem exchanges. Why the poem exchange? it is consider as a "normal" talking instead of a "romance" experience which is frown upon. Even the act of a woman talking to a man in the street is seem as a scandalous thing. Not to mention, Trưng Trắc is the daughter of a well known general. People also fell in love very fast back then too. So the author wanted to make the story more romantic by having them encounter in a "normal" way, having some conversation. Their "romantic" encounter in this story is totally made up by the author to try to fill in the gap of their historical story.

That's all I gotta say.
