I think it's because of the orb he obtained when Maythan died (the orb that grants one wish I think? He was probably trapped inside)

i’m not really a fan of the ml dealing w everything behind the mc’s back, i mean like he is an adult who can solve problems too. i think it would have been better for them to make public their relationship together.
