I ain't no debator, but being a software eng student, when we are all clumped into groups for projects, there is always an argument on what system or language to use for a particular sturcture or part. So I have learned one key detail I employ in each argument. The way to win a debate is to persuade your opponent to accept the conclusion of your a......

Once you take an action, no matter how difficult it may be or how guilty it may make you feel at first, it becomes easier to repeat the second time around. And if there’s a second time, a third will likely follow. That’s why I feel pardoning cheating only gives them the chance to do it again, since they faced no real consequences. For me, that......

Not an artist (so not very good) but I do love doodling from time to time. (≧∀≦)

A little rant up ahead:

I revisited this story out of nostalgia, only to wonder how I ever liked it. Kyouta is the worst—he bullied, harassed, assaulted, pulled her hair, led her on while sleeping around with other girls, and acted like a misogynistic jerk. His so-called “tragic past” was the weakest excuse: blaming his teacher’s behavior and his mother’s affair (after enduring an abusive marriage. And I know cheating is bad, but the hurt this woman faced, both physical and emotional with that monster of a husband of hers, I think it was only natural she would turn away towards someone that treats her better.) doesn’t justify treating women like trash.

Even as a “boyfriend,” he constantly pressured the FL into sexual situations, let random girls stay over, gave them his clothes, and was almost ridiculously friendly with other girls right in front of her. He even treated his mother—who fought for his custody and genuinely loved him—terribly. If he can’t respect his own mother, how could he respect his girlfriend?

Honestly, I’m disappointed in myself for ever liking this. Leaving this note here as a reminder never to reread it.(/TДT)/

I’m really into The Lumineers (especially 'Ophelia'), and I highly recommend Jesse Welles—his songs tackle social issues in such a thought-provoking way. Also, you all have to listen to 'Afreen Afreen' by Momina Mustehsin and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. I came across it randomly and it's been stuck in my head (it's best not to directly support the tr......

Not cheating exactly. But I just never see these two lasting for some reason.

Since first grade, I’ve had a system for studying that really works for me. I make my notes as neat and pretty as possible, which actually helps me memorize things without even trying. While reviewing, I put checkmarks next to the parts I know I’ll struggle to remember. Every day, I go over those sections and then explain the material to a frie......

I’m so upset.
The mom and Ken suffered too much, yet they were incredible, standing by the MC even when the world was against him, never blaming him despite everything.
In contrast, I couldn’t stand the guy’s son, absolutely despicable! And the MC’s sister was upsetting too; with her brother on trial for murder and her mother's life ruined and clearly in need of some support at least from her daughter, all said daughter cared about was her social life. I’m glad everything settled in the end, but the journey was still so upsetting.

I think each has its own charm—Japanese manga are usually more emotional and heartwarming with grounded stories, Korean manhwa are aesthetic, fun, and instantly captivating, while Chinese works like danmei and baihe tend to be more plot-driven and immersive. So I think they are all great in their own way.

Jin Mu Won is just... Ugh he's just so great. My goat. I love him. ╥﹏╥

Back in second grade, our school was under army jurisdiction, right next to their cantonment (a place where they housed the families of soldiers and also had many offices and training facilities. This is why many of their children attended the school too and we would be directly aware of any state issues first hand). One day, a bomb went off in the......

They’re always less privileged than the ML/FL... Is it the money MCs? Is that it? Like, how you gonna pass up the obvious green flag?

He's so cute. I find her so gorgeous. I just love pretty boys. And pretty boys with long hair? Perfection. The most gorgeous one by far ain't she? (There are just so many gorgeous characters in manhwa, but I could only think of them over the top of my head)

I met my best friend in first grade when I threw her water bottle at a snake near our classroom (we were next to marshes back then). She got mad and tossed my pouch out the window—fair. We avoided each other for a while until I saved up to buy her a new bottle. She already had a better one but started using mine because it was a gift, which I tho......
