YO i read the raws and ITS INTENSE batshit crazy intense omfggggfgfg
for me i read the raws here https://yaoi.mobi/manga/eyes-with-a-deer-yaoi0003/ (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
I'm not gonna lie, the level of naivete and stupidity the uke revels himself when he gets isekaid is frustrating to see. He seems like a logical person, and he can be one but he instead chooses to be an incompetent blabbering lovesick fool. He doesn't even have the slight awareness of his disposition in his mansion, use his medical skills to use and prove himself worthy of being the young master, and dethrone his leech of a stepmother. But no, he chooses to stumble over his own two feet and be delirious over his first love. Which is understandable, but ONLY to an extent. Where's his logical sense and survival skills? Does your love render you this helpless.
Anyways. This is a good manhwa because the author successfully made me pissed off at the uke.
At first i was thinking the same thing but if i were to put myself in his shoes then i would do the same, i mean like ur life is in dangerous in another life n suddenly woke up in isekai world(his novel world) where the person i only recognize at first is the one i love n feel guilty with, ofc i would get freak out n confused. It wouldnt be that easy for me to put myself together when in that world there is so much is going on n keep messing me up(like keep getting poisioning or everyone in there is sus). I guess dongha only trust yujin thats why he only focus on him maybe he will adapt slowly with the help with that glasses guy (maybe with yujin too)
I've actually read the korean raws-- and I understand korean, he does get back on his feet after being in a desperate lovey trance. If one were to get isekaid in a different world, as an adult at that, the first logical thing to do is think of ways - and obviously he wasn't doing that, BUT that's his character. He's supposed to act that way. It gets better for him.
God, I feel bad for Seth and Anubis who got so manipulated into this mess, all because Osiris desired him. And I wholly understand why Seth refuses for everyone to know of that night, he'd rather sacrifice and be humiliated for the people he cares for behind closed doors and never let them learn of his sacrifices. He has his pride too. And the need to protect his loved ones.
And yes, Osiris took advantage of Seth's predicament and his body, but I cannot also turn a blind eye to Seth's crimes of murdering lives, but it is his way of reacting. That, is if I even really seriously acknowledge this aspect of the story, they're gods, their morals are not linear, they have human tendecies but at the end of the day they are beings that surpass human morale.
If you cannot deduce this aspect, I'd assume you are minor, this sort of fiction will bring out your morale castle to its duty.
In all honesty, I think all the characters are so well-written. No complaints, hands down one of the top tier works of fiction I've consumed for years.
Love how the mangaka portrayed the fictional character's personalities... esp when the seme drops those pictures... perfectly executed scene. This is a good manga for those who likes dark themes.
Anyways, no one is romanticising these tropes-- it all comes down to fictional preferences. Don't get all woke now. Adults know what they consume, if you don't get that, you're probably a minor stumbling upon these works.
