I agree. The translation gets pretty wonky at times. I don't think the translators knew how to phrase some of the sentences, so it reads weird and/or confusing.
Some translators add the T/N's to say what the literal translation was, and how they changed it to make the most sense to an English audience. So in case it still doesn't make sense, the note clarifies their intention, and shows what exactly got lost in translation.
Anywho, I appreciate the effort put into translating this. Its better than what I could do, so... RESPECT.

YES! The plot itself isn't confusing but the words themselves (or rather the transition between them) can be. For example when Ares was talking about how Alicia should have told him all of this beforehand so she didn't need to try... something. What is he talking about? Is he talking about becoming his advisor? But that doesn't make sense since immediately afterwards not only does she claim it's for Kai but she also says that she *ignored* her brother's feelings. For one, if it's for Kai how does that make becoming Ares' advisor necessary? For two the fact that she said she ignored her brother's feelings implies that's not the reason she became Arex' advisor in the first place.
