Okay now that it is done, I must say I’m conflicted.
I love the art, the characters are interesting but the plot is a bit all over the place. Some stuff seems a bit unecessary (like the guy being a flasher? It’s not something small but then it’s forgotten quite quickly??? The story would have been almost the same without that, ‘cause it didn’t influence each characters’s wishes and goals)
Also that last chapter, idk. I had to go back recheck the previous chapter ‘cause it really felt like I missed a part somewhere. There was a lots of things that came from out of nowhere, or at least too quickly.
Mr. Araki or whatever his name is, is hot as fuck tho.
Oh my that bonus one shot was so very cute ;o; I kinda wish there was more about those 2
The gorgeous art aside (no not aside, it’s freaking amazing) this author’s sex scène always makes me a bit embarrassed, like I’m really looking at something I shouldn’t. It just felt so intimate >o< I’m sorry for looking asako-kun, kuroiwa- san!

Am I the only one being bothered by the fact that the seme used the uke’s trust in him to become closer and propose the fake marriage while having feeling? XD
Like, don’t get me wrong, I’m enjoying the story so far, but I can’t help also thinking how betrayed I would feel if I went into a fake marriage with a friend I trusted (which is still a decision with consequences) thinking we’re on the same page, all of that to later discover it was just a mean for my friend to get into my pants :/
But well, as said, I’m still enjoying the story so *shrug* (also the cat is adorable and MC is a big mood)

Okay so maybe the plot is not all that original but tbh? I don’t care, it was hella cute and also hella refreshing.
How many yaoi with the kinda same plot has such supportive parents, has both mains communicating and go on the fact that sometimes your wants and your mind don’t always align. Like the first time they tried to have sex felt really realistic tbh.
Anyway, it was a very cute read.
(Also I liked the small realistic bits about the visas.)
