so after this last update, I re read the beginning again. I must say I don't think Kurose lied. I think he genuinely loves shirotani for himself and that in the end it's the reason he wanted to cure him. I explain.
At first, when he met Shirotani, he saw that he had mysophobia, and when the opportunity was given, he was kinda weird and pushy to help shirotani cure his disease. He asked they become friends and I really think Kurosuke planned to keep it that way, just help shirotani because of what happened with Nishigaki.
BUT during that time, shirotani was just such a precious cinamonroll, kurose kun couldn't help but like him more and more every weeks. The proof ? HE ACTUALLY CUT TIES with shirotani when he try to kiss him because he feel he has messed up, EVEN TOUGH SHIROTANI ISN'T CURED AT ALL. Why's that ? Because being in love with him, he think he will mess up at some point and betray Shirotani's trust.
My point is that at that time he felt his desire to help someone like Nishigaki to lessen his guilt or whatever it is that he has, wasn't worth sacrificing the truth Shirotani had for him, because Kurose liked him but at that time they had a patient-doctor relationship.
But in the end, he couldn't stand being away from Shirotani and when he confess in chapter 8 he says again that he will cure Shirotani, this time with a very determined look and while saying that he wants to stay by Shirotani's side: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/ten_count/mf/v02/c008/20/
So I feel that he didn't really lie. I think that even if at first, he wanted to help Shirotani because of what happened with Nishigaki in the past, it soon wasn't the real reason anymore and that in chapter 8 it really became the fact that he was in love with Shirotani and wanted to kiss him and such, more than anything.
Also I can understand that Kurose don't want to tell the person he loves that at first he had ulterior motives he isn't proud of u_u (be brave kurose ) Even more since it will involve betraying Shrotani's trust in Kurose and Kurose never want to betray the trust Shirotani has in him. Never. I think it's the thing he want the less in the world.

Anyway, this was nice and cute. I wish the author would do a long sotry because I'm really enjoying all of their stories so far
I found the beginning very interesting, but the chapter 2 started to confuse me more already. I thought Nono was a trans girl (thought when they said that he became a boy again then a girl, nobody told him that he didn't had to choose ? That genderfluid was a thing too ? Seems it didn't felt like wanted to be one or the other)
But yeah chapter 2, when nao sleep with that girl and she says she's bi I was "yeah cool, different sexual orientation and a bi at that !" but then "I'm a man in a girl's body" Uuuuh okay idk what does it have to do with the fact that you're bi ??? Well I just found this kind of mistakes pretty weird for a manga so interesting with such openminded thematics.
All in all, it's a good story, I really enjoyed the chapter 3. I sense a bad ending but I can't help but look foward to it ! Also I kinda understand Nao when he's rejecting Nono, even though my heart is bleeding for them both. It's very realistic on that part.
I think she just said that because of the conventional set-up or structure of "man likes woman" or "woman likes man". Must be her own way of explaining things, and take into consideration their area of residence which is Japan. (I believe they're kinda stubborn with this "conventional" setting of straight romance).
If I remember correctly, she did say that she's into girls and boys - when she said she's a man in a girl's body, I figure she must be talking about the percentage of her that is into girls because, well, read the first sentence of my reply :)
