I’m a bit sad at the extra. Like it’s nice and all, but it’s just a sex scene. I know it’s common to have sex scene as extra in yaoi but for this one I wish we could have had crumbs of their lives in the USA, a small or big time skip, I dunno.

i think author did that on purpose cause iirc their other work that had the mcs on an "escape" also did not have much for their extras. it just means they want it to end on a happy note and whatever happens (both stories' future potentially very grim) now depends on the readers' imagination haha
will they live their happily ever after in america or will the heavy discrimination tear them down? we know it's gonna be a hard life either way so let's just end it with a good note (●'◡'●)ﾉ
