I suddenly got sad after reading that so I think i will drop this :/ they started with sweet moments with MC x Carolina so I thought he will be only with her but then in the WN, a harem... f*ck, this is not for me. (〜￣△￣)〜
So I skimmed through the LN, and let’s just say it’s scummy, generic self-insert isekai trash. HOWEVER, this manga/mangaka has fixed so many of its issues, and changed so many things to give the characters more depth and personality, while still sticking with its original premise. I can’t wait to see this story and unfold, and although I do have slight issues with certain details, I think this will be a much better story. Credit where credit is due, Mangaka.
Also it’s just Carolina, no harem... maybe... It ends with just Carolina.

I will cry if there's an actual harem! If there had been signs of a harem from the start, I could accept it, but I'm too invested in his relationship with Carolina. Like, if it's a harem, then why didn't you draw the harem on a two page spread at the beginning so I know what I'm geeting myself into!!!
Is this worth the read? Are the ladies in his harem are useful like in the manga Re: Monster? Or just another harem that will ruin the story?
Some are useful other are not. The most useful is Selina.
Still, the harem is rarely an important part of the story, except the comic part, in many parts of the story the harem is not even there, even though women still feel in love with him.
To be honest, the characters personalities in general are great and is a funny and interesting story, as I said, the harem is second place in the story or for comedy, specially Sei jealousy, but he doesn't have an annoying harem!
Also, all his harem are women older than him!
