I love this so much. The fact that i can see bits of myself in every of these characters proves that the characterization of this story is so good. Ik i do read some light cliche romance plots, but this one is just so realistic? Like in some romance, they always make these archetypes like omg look this guy is a delinquent who likes a good girl, but don't worry guys, as long as the girl is sunshine and rainbows, everything will be ok!
However, this story is different. Granted that Rintaro is not actually a delinquent, but the way the mangaka didn't mindlessly put archetypes on their character??? It should be a bare minimum but damn this reminded me of what a good story is. Yeah Waguri is a cheerful person, but we can see how that really impacts on other people. Like they don't make our main characters just go,
"Omg Male Character, i know you're actually a good person"
"Gasp babygirl, okay now i will be emotionally dependant on you like a borderline obsessive guy"
We can see how Rintaro slowly opened up and rekindled his spark. It was to the point when i re-read early chapters, i find it endearing to see how Rintaro used to be such a hesitant person.
Ughhh now i dread to see the day this story ends~
Also side note : The mangaka handles the expressions very well. Every time i see them smile from the bottom of their hearts, i can feel it omg. It's one of my favorite aspects of this manga as well
Btw on a personal note, i have gone through phases like Saku and also Usami. Although Usami didn't quite havr a conflict in this story, i did get into some in real life. People thought i was being pushy and fake sometimes so i was conflicted since in the past when i had similar traits like Saku, people thought i was too mean. But i'm glad to see that Saku and Usami had people to love and accept them as they are. It made me feel relieved that someday i can meet people like the ones in this story :)
The thing about A class and F class grading is....????? I mean yeah discrimination is bad but it's not like it's a subjective grading. It's a measurement based on your power, no? Even the reason this whole plot is going on is because you're an A class that got put into F class "accidentally", so like ehhhhh????

But also for a grim premise, the plot is going quite.....cheery. Girlie, your human friend is dying in the prison. Not to mention it took so long until she finally tried to search for an exit. Sighh hopefully we can get more development on getting the kid out

She was just born and in a place like that too. All she was thinking about at first was to make sure the kids fine as in no harm was subjected to him at the moment.
And being helpless with her new life and unsure of her ability, surely she wont know any spells or way to help the kid literally. All she can is to find food for him and I think thats A for effort.
Thats why it made sense for her to go outside to explore and find others to help her

well i'm not gonna saying that they "abandon her right away" but you know how the story usually pull the trick. so in one scene reynolds misunderstood penelope, he accused penelope doing something to ivonne(duh the disappointment that i felt). i mean the progress they have seems so blur rn haha.
derrick hmmm, you know he's a d*ck right? so no comment for that. (yeah even if he been brainwashed by ivonne, still he's d*ck from the start)
on the other side, the duke is idk he's protecting penelope but didn't say anything so in the end penelope misunderstood him (i'm not gonna saying that he's bad, but feel calm bcs he's still planning what the best for penelope coming of ege ceremony. even if the "real" daughter is come back)
