Idk this whole story makes me uncomfortable. The girl is Hella manipulative, and the father is an adult and should know better. They're both mentally unstable. This doesn't give a very good feel when reading it haha. With stories like this I read it was the latest chapters the the one before it, so I'm reading it backwards, idk, I just hate the suspense.
Indeed he should know better, but with everything that's happening in his life it might not be such an easy thing to do. From his point of view she might be his solace in his otherwise depressing life and because of that don't try to think to hard about everything.
Yeah that's why I said they were both mentally unstable. I should've said clearer that what he's doing is wrong, but I can see with his mental state why he does them. It's just not a good situation either way.

I don't think it's suspicious, I think they are meeting because of the red string. The author made it seem in this manga and in akai ito no that you are going to meet the person on the other side of the string often. Like the mls from the other maga would meet all the time cause the red string brings them together. Once it was broken they wouldn't consisdently meet any more. I think she ended up at the hotsprings too since the red string is trying to bring them together every chance it gets. Also even if she didn't tie the string using fake means I am sure this couple won't split up. It's sad to see it now but I am sure something will happen later to split the strings for our leads to be together.
