that's all

Honestly, I love being able to support the author. Bite me but I'm truly happy this was licensed. I would of purchased all the chapters anyway in KO just because it meant I would support the author so when I heard that it was being licensed in EN... Even better!!! I don't speak korean, but I already purchased the KO novel series (I used google translate) and I will purchase them again if they ever come out in EN.

Of course, I was disappointed at the beginning, for several reasons. Primarily by having to wait so long for them to catch up. I was hoping Rose Squad Scans would finish Season 1 and then drop it. They won't and I understand them so it's fine )I'm taking it as if the author took a hiatus, just bear with it for now). I also hated that the official translation wouldn't be decensored. Also, I would have to get used to a different vocabulary for the characters (which changes the personalities I had already created in my mind, etc).

Regardless, I'm happy this is licensed. Being able to support creators is important for me.

But... fuck. I dislike the official translation. The 2 most recent chapters are a bit better, but when I saw Lancer called Lehnsherr... I just.. Ugh, cringy. I hate to belittle the work done by the TappyToon staff, but I have to point it out.

I don't feel the same lewdness and obscenity from the vocabulary used, but more important than that, I feel like the TappyToon translation doesn't have a good grasp of the characters.

How can I explain...

Rose Squad Scans was more emotionally invested in the characters and they took on the persona of the characters so much better... Maybe it's because they also read the novel for WOW... This really shows in their translation. The vocabulary, pacing, interpretation... It suits the characters more.

Maybe I'm biased because I started reading the Rose Squad Scans before I read the TappyToon translation... I did try to prepare myself for a change in character personality since it was gonna be a different translation staff... but ugh... I didn't think I would dislike it so much. Of course i'm going to continue reading WoW... I guess I just need some getting used to.

Hey may I ask for the name of the KO novel series

Minimore April 5, 2019 5:11 am

So in my desperation I realized that Lezhin actually has this series in korean, fortunately the coin system works even if you've purchased them in your country's currency... Anyway, 25 chapters are out. I used google translate. I understood about 65%... This series... is... AMAZING HOLY FUCKKKKKKKK NO REGRETSS!!! THIS SHIT IS SOO GOOOD..... I CAN'TTTT MY EYESSSSSSSS MY EYESSSS. THIS IS SO PURE AND UST UGGGGHHHH THE ART IS SO FUCKIN GOOOOODDDDDDDDD AND THE STORY IS JUST UGHHHHHH IT'S SO GOOOOODDDDDDDDDD I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE I LOVE THIS SO MUCH.

BL is slowly but surely turning me into a furry.

This is the story of two office workers. Kagaya, discovers that Mimasaka is a hermaphrodite male, so he makes use of that secret to get his way with him.

salary man x salary man, office sex, hermaphrodite, blackmail

The art is so interesting. Mimasaka literally has a vagina and a penis. The expressions were good. Proportions were good. Honestly, it's a oneshot so there's not much I can say about this.

The characters... Kagaya has a sadistic strike and Mimasaka has innocent uke vibes. They make a lovely couple.

The relationship development. Well, it has some rapey vibes, of course, it is blackmail... but the uke says that he enjoys it. Hmm...

The plot, overall this is more on the smutty side but it's really good. It's such a nice read.

Unfortunately, I was left with such a big "want more" yearning. Ugh. Would of loved to see at least one volume of this lovely couple.

/.+0I0f.204+- you are a BL fan and you haven't read this, get on it! This is one of the BL that paved the way for yaoi, truly a must read masterpiece.

Also, I really recommend reading the manga before watching the anime. I have done both, and extensively compared them. Although there are only subtle differences. The manga is better since it's suits the time this was published. Everything makes more sense, symbolism is more present, etc.

Old school shounen ai, drama, violence, rape, prostitution, child rape, pedophilia rings, gangsters, drug use, complex characters, complex story.

The art is old school, of course. With the bubbly faces and tuned up bodies. I find it adorable. I love the most up to date art style for yaoi, but this really doesn't put me off. It's good. Sometimes it can be overwhelming, since there's so much going on plot-wise and the art, as the story, can get dark. With bubbles, dialogues, panels, all over the place. It really shows the mind of this creator. Proceed with caution.

The characters. Hmmm ... It's best if you see for yourself, but they're extremely complex. This characters are faithful to their essence until the end, while still undergoing development. Their reasoning and behavior matches their personalities very well. Everything the characters do is calculated. Very interesting.

The relationship development. It's old school shounen ai, so mature readers will understand it best. Before yaoi became what it is today, BL was portrayed subtly. You won't see the couple being in a relationship at all, but they're gay as fuck for each other. There are subtle homosexual undertones that you have to pick up. The high light of this story is not BL, don't go in reading this expecting romance. What is truly praise worthy is the carefully crafted plot.

The plot... This is no cookie cutter yaoi, this is years ahead of time. This story is meant to break you. It's complex, bittersweet, compelling, truly heartbreaking. Everything in this story has a purpose and they way it started, developed, and ended is symbolic in many ways. Enjoy the story, thoroughly. For real, avoid reading this in one-go. Take your time to process what is happening, reread as much as you need to. Make sure you're following and understanding to the fullest extent that you can, the true beauty of this work.

In this story, vampires and humans coexist. The MC vampire in this story, likes to mate before/during feeding to make the blood more appetizing. One day the MC human happens to be on duty for the infirmary, during lunch time MC vampire comes in to be fed. Already in love with the vampire before him, he agrees to mate and let the vampire suck on him.

Also includes a oneshot of a cat, Your Excellency, who wonders in life until he stumbles upon a lovely human.... Extremely bittersweet. Lovely.

high school romance, studentxstudent, vampirexhuman

The art is lovely. This author makes her characters very aesthetically pleasing. Soft, stoic, a bit of fluff, very lovely. I think her art is great. The sex scenes don't put me off, I think she relies on dialogue and close ups a lot so it really brings subtle homosensual undertones whilst avoiding shitty drawings of male anatomy. Actually, I think full naked bodies aren't really shown. Good expressions too.

The characters are well defined. They really do act mature for their age. Secondary characters in the story really add to the plot without being weird. I think both characters develop nicely.

The relationship development was so smooth, it felt really natural. The author parallels the symbolism of freeing a bird with freeing the seme from his burdens so he can embrace what he truly desires. Overall, this relationship development has depth. As you reread, you will discover more and more meanings.

The plot is nicely paced, adorable. It's not just entertaining, this manga has a message. It's well planned. This author really delivers.

If you like this story, let me tell you... I know it's great but it's not even her best. Check out Rouge, La Vie en Rose, Bebe-san. This author often makes bittersweet stories and outside-the-box thinking ukes. Soft characters, great art, symbolism, motifs, metaphors. This author is truly hardworking.

They low key love each other and it's just too adorable.

Thank you translator-nim!

I read this upon recommendation, but it isn't my cup of tea.

Follows the story of MC who has social anxiety and is very shy and his friend-turned-lover second MC who also has trouble speaking with other people.

college romance, fluffyx100, social anxiety, girly uke.

The art was fluffy, would have been better if it was softer, but meh. It is what it is. Honestly bodies had good proportions and expressions were nice. Sex scene also wasn't bad. It's not outstanding art, but it ain't bad either.

The characters got on my nerves. The blonde one more than Touma. I mean, I guess this would be a good read for younger readers or people who have social anxiety, but to me, it was annoying. I just couldn't relate to the characters because they were so.. immature. However, they have a nicely paced character development. You can really see a difference with the blonde by the end of the manga, while still maintaining his essence. How lovely.

The relationship development, it's a slow burn for sure but it's worth it. The pace is really nice, nothing feels rushed, and the conflict was resolved nicely.

The plot revolves around miscommunication and how to overcome social anxiety. Would of been nice if this had some kind of substance or message by the end, but I think the author didn't think that far and this was made for entertainment purposes. So the plot is lacking, but it's still a light, cute read.

Would recommend for a younger audience. Meh, read it as a last resort. It's not bad, though, it's just okay. Tbh, I had a hard time reading this. It took me longer than usual cause I kept stopping to read other more interesting stuff.
