Is there any chance that the duke’s previous fiancée is related to Rowena… like a distant cousin? They favor in appearance so much until people can’t help but point out how much they look alike, even Cedric had mistaken her for a ghost of the dead fiancée! It’s weird b/c he’s smitten with a woman who looks like his dead niece! (〜￣△￣)〜 Seems like there’s more to it!

Also, the Duke’s character development is progressing far too slowly, and he’s only made things worse by being a j@ck@ss as usual. I hate his personality! (╬￣皿￣) I really hope she never takes him back, but we can pretty much guess the end! (︶︿︶) His words were too hurtful, so I say let him stew is his misery for taking her feelings for granted, regardless of what his true purpose was. He could have used a modicum tact instead of adding insult to injury by showing up with another woman, especially since he didn’t want to lose Rowena! And then to track her down years later and want to proceed as if things should automatically go back to the way they were? Oh, H€LL NO! You know what they say: “You make your bed… you lie in it!” ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

I have mixed feelings about this plot! It’s basically ROMANTICIZING ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS (〜￣△￣)〜 Sure, she’s in a patriarchal society, even in in a different world/dimension/era (I don’t know which is appropriate), where men get to make decisions about women’s lives, particularly when it comes to getting married or divorced. In the beginning, the FL is in a quagmire b/c neither her hateful, unloving husband nor her uncaring, emotionless father are willing to approve of it, and she’s literally stuck with being married to that douchebag duke! She’s in no position to leave town to live a carefree life of her own without permission. So, she’s stuck with her crappy family. Is the point of the plot for her to live in misery and survive it despite the countless adversities? If so, okay… got it!

Alas, the FL is smart enough to make life easier for herself with her superb medical skills. However, the plot is too convoluted for her to be a strong FL, especially since all the men who previously hated her b/c of her appearance alone are suddenly getting heart-shaped eyes for her and then everybody & their mama are slapping her whenever they see fit! It’s stupid b/c it’s like she is mouthy and vengeful with the brothers but not with the atrocious & violent women, who are actually causing chaos at every turn. Why? Why are the men no longer repulsed by black hair & black eyes; is it not a bad thing anymore?! Why let the women trample over her instead of getting revenge on them, too? They all treat her badly… just one episode of abuse after another! RIDICS!（￣へ￣）

I don’t know the point of the plot! (⌒▽⌒) It’s interesting enough to see how her life turns out in the end (b/c the amazing artwork helps), but not enough to make me want to endure foolishness and lose brain cells over a plot that will be hard pressed to make this into a romance… got to be mislabeled, right?! I’ll read a few more chapters… maybe… but may drop it if the plot continues to disappoint!

UPDATE: After reading reviews and a few synopses, I think I will drop it! It turns out that the father is the ML? Wth… and she sleeps with her brothers, who are discovered to be “not related by blood” as if that makes it better! Wth again… and there’s a happily ever after? Omg, I can already feel the brain cells starting to deteriorate just from reading snippets of what’s to come! DROPPED

LOL I see people complaining about the ML, but who among the princes would you have as the ML other than Yuri? They all suck! (▰˘◡˘▰) Ok, maybe not the blind prince at this point, but who knows if he’s genuinely a good person until the story ends! Sure, the ML is a bad boy devil, but they all have personality issues that make me cringe! I really hope there is an extreme character development for the Yuri, though b/c I would choose the strong Alpha male over the other weak princes! IJS… (⌒▽⌒)

Also, the FL is irritating b/c she’s in a situation that she CAN’T get out of. She doesn’t have a choice but to stay with the ML, and she’s too aggressive to make things better for herself! I know, I know… her country was destroyed and she’s forced into this situation… blah, blah, blah. But, that’s my point! She’s a clueless, pampered princess who wouldn’t survive on her own, with Yuri being the only one who cares about her wellbeing at all. She’s one step away from being a sacrifice at any given time, but she’s acting like a spoiled princess who has a choice in the matter or anything else related to freedom. She should accept reality and try to make life better for her and her people by using the ML instead of being overly aggressive! Yes, he’s annoying, but he could be rap€y like the first prince or abusive. (〜￣△￣)〜 Street smarts can take you a long way if you know how to be patient and use your adversary to your advantage! Looks too cartoonish for the seriousness of the overused plot! RAPE is not okay! (￣皿￣)凸

I was hoping the cover was kind of indicative of the art style (maybe not literally); could be better than what it is. IMO… The chosen artwork is pretty lackluster and takes away from the appeal of the story.（￣へ￣）Wish it was drawn with a bit more artistic flair like the cover!

Seriously, the FL is kinda tiring with her fickleness and indecision! She’s really just an omega slut who wants her cake and to eat it, too! Such a tease, but giving up the girl goodies to four different alphas. Girl, just pick one! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ Like for real, she will probably end up with Ki Taejun b/c she flip flops back & forth with him… one minute it’s, “No, Taejun!” and the next it’s , “Oh, we can be sex buddies if you do as I say!” (〜￣△￣)〜 I’m not slut-shaming, but if the shoe fits…
