Hello, Damien Is Hue’s nephew (son of his twin Who is named Hugo, Hue lived his life as Hugo).

Damien is needed to continue the bloodline IF Hue agreed to impregnate a woman to give birth to a girl and that baby girl will then be Damien’s bride to produce a male heir. Male heirs are only produced through incest.

Damien is his brother's son and the Taran line continues by careful inbreeding. Phillip was raised to uphold this line. In his eyes, the young master needs a mate. A Taran male has to be especially picky to breed, it seems. A female family member is bred from a normal woman who has stopped her period after the first onset and remains a virgin until taken by a Taran male. Thanks to the other timeline, Phillip actually gave this recipe to Lucia because the bloodline ended and he gave up. In this timeline, Lucia uses it so if she cannot avoid marrying her abusive husband in the other timeline, she at least cannot bear him or any other potential man children.
A Taran male comes from a male and female Taran breeding. Thus, a Taran male always marries his sister to bear him sons. Hue's parents were such. Phillip has a farm of girls who would otherwise have been starved or went unmissed by their families to breed with a Taran male. That is why Hue began going after noblewome as his bedmates before marriage. Thankfully, with Damien in existence, Hue would not have been coupled with his own daughters. Phillip is only focused on getting a female Taran for him from Hue. Damien chooses his own I've in life, though we don't know how that goes, unfortunately, by the end of the story.

Damien is Hugo’s brothers son, so basically Damien is Hugo’s nephew.
Yes he knows about Damien as he was actually the one who introduced Damien to Hugo. Phillip is also extremely obsessed with continuing the bloodline. (after finishing the novel i really don’t understand his obsession with it lol)

I always wondered how Damien would take the fact he will probably won’t be able to have children since finding a woman with that kinda requirements would be impossible.

In the novel Damien as a young adult And is already in love, but the girl kinda disappeared and he is looking for her. She is such a mystery, but not much details about her life. Only that she was dressed as a boy(pretending to be a boy) in the boarding school with Damien.

There was not really much progress from there though, at least as far as I know so I guess se will never know.
