Owen sucks. All he's done untill now is manipulate Nux. Ofc Nux isn't a saint either.
Honestly Nux should be more angry regarding the whole situation and Owen should really grow The Fuck Up! He's still hiding from Nux but always there to interfere or micro manage him.
Not sure what Nux did wrong at all. He couldnt have known his words and actions would so personally hurt Owen, because Owen never told him anything.

Nux was only with Owen because he gives him things that he likes. Like he wouldn't just stay and tolerate it when he gets nothing out of it. He was like a sugar baby. He didn't really care about 'liking' Owen in that way and all he wanted was the Materialistic things. So can't say he isn't wrong for being someone like that.
He took advantage of the fact that the Owners liked him. I'm not forgetting what happened in the chapters but just pointing out what type of person Nux is as well.

He was also with the Owens because they wouldn't leave him alone, to the point that his consent was pretty much optional.
Its not like he was a total gold digger he just didnt go out of his way to decline stuff. Most of it were bribes and guilty-gifts from a guy harassing him then hiding the fact he used Nux to get pregnant, hoping he'd eventually be a consensual participant in all the stuff that was happening without it and behind his back.
