the whole webtoon is not very subtle is it? a little bit unrefined. dahlia had to be reminded of a conflict of interest that might arise from her blatant high-horse riding attitude towards florre in public. she didnt even think about that by herself.
listen, new type of villain not so villain just dropped, thats okay. they cant all get away with exchanging demure and perfect manners with their evil protagonist sisters all the time, i understand. but the way this webtoon is going for is reckless and just plain makes no sense.

i like that the author made tia face her music. the pirate king is her slip, while aubrey is not. she made a failsafe mechanism by sacrificing the pirate king but she failed to see the variables that spared him from death. its a little unfortunate that aubrey is used a stepping stone since i reckon pirate king would have made his way to get revenge on her anyway, just so happens aubrey is in exile at the time, bc i would like her to fear the consequences of being wrong and having death loomed over her. i feel bad for the eldest jordin who now have to be a kin slayer because of aubreys blindsided ways.
anyways the author is simply clever with this turns of events.

but some feminist criminal law theories and some FLT schools would still argue the power imbalance between the mother and the congressman is too great for her to be able to give consent free of anything. i understand the mothers soft hearted, and i cant blame that some people are like that, but psa, this relationship is risky irl and still put impunity on the congressman. although this is just theoretical and has almost no precedent of being the basis of conviction. and lets be real, penal law irl in a lot of countries dont side with women and victims, so this is just a rose tinted legal theory.
i dont want to ever sympathize with congressman, hes a monster and doesnt deserve the brief stint comfort he has from the mother

i want that for once to have a bi/gay twist on a seemingly straight isekai. it would be a very satisfying surprise and a lot of time, that twist wouldve made much more sense than the FL getting with an ML. i do read a couole yuri isekais but with them you know what to expect and the satisfaction doesnt come from the ships, but rather the plot. but this?? this ambiguous and almost queerbaiting, imagine if lesian actually stays with leonie that wouldve been astronomical
crazy how l'etat cest moi ideology where you have to blindly accept the will of a single person who got lucky in the genepool lottery is the norm not so long ago. hells, it is still a norm in a lot of places. gods, beings, divine powers being put up as a facade and people not knowing theyre being cruel or consciously abusing that power bc whew. the most depressing thing about this, imo, is how everyone doesnt see anything the saintess did as wrong. everyone know shes cruel, her oracles are full of hatred, the small peoples in the empire must have bear the brunt of the conquest too. shes like brand ambassador of genocide. and even though it was a ruse on leticias part, her children are also known to be crooks, yet no one was willing or strong enough to do anything.
im but a single person, so all i can do is just pray that i and the rest of the world are spared from this kind of tyranny
