I do think that while her feelings are valid her response definitely wasn’t. She only burst when he mentioned the infertility, which she seems to associate with her experience as a trophy wife who was raped by a someone who I would consider repulsive. It’s also stressful being in loveless marriage from her perspective where she could never have her feelings reciprocated and with the inability to divorce, the one thing she requested that was working well for her was the infertility condition thing and when he was pushing on it it could be seen from her perspective as him taking away the one thing she still had in this marriage. Her outburst was uncalled for definitely and was a terrible thing for her to do but I think that there was definitely a reason behind it. Also she does recognize that she was being selfish at the time and she’s at fault but she hasn’t seen him in a while so she isn’t able to apologize, at least yet. She also doesn’t know he’s hurting as well, he has an emotional barrier and guard that we get to see through because we’re the audience but she doesn’t. She knows he’s hurt by what she said but there wasn’t any indication it would be lasting and at the time she didn’t recognize the affect her words would have on him because she thought he didn’t love her. Of course this is aside from the point because she did hurt him when he was in a vulnerable more openly emotional place in his life and she needs to apologize for what she said because it was insensitive and sh*tty. (Also I hope they don’t draw out their disagreement).
