I love this story and how it deals with the feelings of sexual assault and the misogyny that women have to go through I'm very happy that Joy is able to live a happy life now and I love how realistic this story is.

I really want the dad and son to have a loving relationship I feel like when it comes to stories like this, the author always tend to focus more on the child relationship with her mother, instead of the relationship with the father, as well, which is always sad to see. I want to see both of the parents doting on their child. :(

AND THEN SAYING THE N WORD ?? literally what was the point of making this story. And I know there was not a single black person in the writers room to come up with this garbage
