I did also think he got arrested or even got into an accident, but when I saw him coming back, I assume he is. I think he just brought souvenirs or get on some workshop/learning materials to learn new things to be able to run another business or something.

Literally nothing is wrong with the name of naming a kid after character. People have been doing this for years and it's as normal as naming a kid just because you like the name (づ￣ ³￣)づ
Names hold different meanings in different languages and cultures, just bc they were included on a fictional work doesn't take away their meaning and fictional names can have the meaning you wish to give to them, wishing to give life a joyful meaning doesn't equal making it a joke and if they consider life a joke then so be it ╮(￣▽￣)╭
