I have a my own Korean (Korean-America, he was born in the States) gamer boy who plays BDO (like same freaking concept as the game in this) and is hella whiny for affection and loves to be spoiled. I really like “Possessed by a cotton ball”. It’s one of my favorites lately. I just hate how long it’s going to take for the officials to catch up to what’s currently there. (The officials will be the only ones loading from now on.
Turning is a good rec, I started reading it and am letting it marinate because you’re right - it was too slow to keep my attention week to week but I love it as a binge.

Okay this might seem weird since I loved Smyrna & Capri (anything from BWAT let’s be so for real) but there’s zero chance I can read Plaything because of the aesthetic. Literally hate the visual dynamic. BUT I get why you recommended it and I thank you dearly.

Dropped to a 2 star just like that. When r*pe is in the plot line from the beginning, depicting morally corrupt characters or power imbalances, for example, it can lend to the overall story (however deplorable it may be). Throwing it in here, however, when it’s so out of character just seems so… crude, foul, and wildly unnecessary. Disappointing writing, and quite frankly, an irredeemable action from the ml.
Anyone consider the possibility he develops feelings for him AFTER he’s a full fledged adult? He doesn’t seem like the type to lust after a child’s body.
After spending years together, and the MC develops into a whole-ass man aka not a literal child anymore, the way Taegu views him could shift unintentionally. Like - everyone saying “GROOOMMEEEERRRR” as if it’s his intention from the start to groom MC. It clearly is not.
i would lwk still think it's weird. LIKE HEAR ME OUT FIRST. imagine u have a son (yes i view yw as my son) who hangs out w a way older guy ever since middle school. then, after he grows up and becomes an adult himself, u find out that the older guy has feelings for him. honestly I'd whack that guy on the head if it were up to me. its not necessarily grooming, or a crime, but it's still highkey weird. AT THE SAME TIME, if taegu decides to never act on his feelings, never confess and keep everyth to himself, I might view him in a better light but rn eh, things aren't looking good. (before someone says well ok seoins a rapist I DO NOT LIKE THAT GUY. I'm here for my boy yeongwoon only)
