Dropped to a 2 star just like that. When r*pe is in the plot line from the beginning, depicting morally corrupt characters or power imbalances, for example, it can lend to the overall story (however deplorable it may be). Throwing it in here, however, when it’s so out of character just seems so… crude, foul, and wildly unnecessary. Disappointing writing, and quite frankly, an irredeemable action from the ml.
Alright, I’ve been reading bl/yaoi since 2016 (chill, ya’ll, I’m turning 31 in two weeks, I’ve BEEN grown lol), but THAT right there was top-tier smut. From the dialogue to the drawings to the kinks. Gaaadamnnn. Something about it just hit different. The entire vibe. Cannot wait for more.

So far they’re both hiding their emotions and true intentions rendering them emotionless and boring characters.

I was looking for a little more angst from a potential near-death collision. F*ck it, I’d even take the amnesia trope over how quickly we blew over everything.
Between this and Regas, they are my two favorite right now and have a lot of similarities (fantasy, European vibes, humor, slow burn - normally not a fan of super slow burn but it works in these two manhwa).
Any other recs like these?

I really like “Possessed by a cotton ball”. It’s one of my favorites lately. I just hate how long it’s going to take for the officials to catch up to what’s currently there. (The officials will be the only ones loading from now on.
Turning is a good rec, I started reading it and am letting it marinate because you’re right - it was too slow to keep my attention week to week but I love it as a binge.
