I feel bad for hyesung on this chapter but I know they would work it out in the end. I cannot exactly blame byul either. Byul is just a teen you guys and he's relying on what he knows. He already reflected on what he has done and would probably apologize later. All they need is better communication since both parties haven't opened up on what actually happened and why things turned up this way. Suggesting a mother to abandon his very beloved child lmfao you're just as bad as you think they are.

On the side note, the kiss feels absolutely rushed and uncalled for lol.

Byul knows most of the story. He talked to that woman, remember? Byul knows that womans version- that is why needed to justify it by bringing up hyesungs action. Byul isn't a child- he's 17, he should know better. Not to mention- Dojin is disgusting. Dojin isn't a teenager. Why did he maintain communication? Dojin deserves repercussions at the very least.

Byul doesnt know what his mom's side was but defended himself on why hes in touch with his grandma because he's a teen that hasn't thought that much into what could've been said. Mind you, he already tried making his own version of what happened since he was a child and he met his grandma at 12/13 years old. I think you'd run with your understanding about it for years if it wasn't corrected at all, no? He already made his own version of what was the truth and ran with it. Not saying he wasn't wrong. I just understand his part.

And I'm not saying Dojin isn't wrong with what he did. In fact, I didn't even mention him at my comment at all. What I wanted to address was that the abandon byul comments when Byul was just left out on what actually happened in the family.

"byul doesn't know his moms side" - he never asked hyesung. But he asked that woman. Byul IS wrong. And he's not a child. Just because you can understand some aspect of his behaviour doesn't make it right.

The point is both byul and dojin made light of hyesungs trauma. I also understand that byul had been hurt by what he heard once. But he had love and affection from hyesung for 17 years. 17 years of love and then you go stab your mom in the back. Nah fam. Byul deserves some repercussions too.

What?? Lmao. I never said that Byul was right. I clearly said that I'm not saying he wasn't wrong. I understand your comment. I know byul should have been more understanding with his mom and he KNOWS that. He cried because he knew he hurt his mom. My original comment was me saying that you are all too harsh by suggesting to abandon Byul. Byul, the child Hyesung loved for 17 years and for many more, as you've said.

As if abandoning a (not a child) teen would solve anything and would make Hyesung happy. As I said, they just need to talk to reach a conclusion. If that doesn't work out, then thats where other actions take place.

"I never said Byul was right" Your original comment 3rd line "I can't blame Byul either" - hope you understand why I wrote the comments now. And though I do understand about talking first before separating- but the people supporting divorce are the ones who are MORE angry at Dojin. Yes, we are angry at Byul too- but everyone knows Dojin is worse. And for Dojin, there's not much left to have any conversation. Dojin first hand saw what Hyesung went through.

Then we are not talking about the same thing? I'm just really targeting people who suggested abandoning Byul and solely him. I don't like Dojin either because he's the root cause of every problem there is in this universe lol. Anyways, I wasn't really in that deep. I just didn't like how the people before me commented that they wanted Hyesung to "abandon byul again" because of how he approached their conflict when Byul lacked confirmation on what truly happened upon his birth and how Hyesung's abandonment was handled by both parties. All I wanted was for Byul and Hyesung to talk it out and have mutual understanding with their trauma. I didn't mean to defend Dojin nor intend to at all.

I like how the plot is because it so... human. It just makes sense you would understand where they are coming from. Both of them had insanely sad backstories and they only had each other to feel seen so it makes total sense why they cling to each other despite everything. Its just so well written

the reason why i love this manhwa ever since is that it resonates with me a lot. every stupid thing that i felt with my first love was drawn into this manhwa and i loved it.

now, i love that it captured me letting go of my first love as well :(

this might take long but i don’t think you guys know that this is reality. long term relationships tend to be stale sure but you have to consider that its so hard to get out of it even if you’ve thought about ending it.

for subin and jun, it has been 5 long years and a lot of things had happened between the two. they aren’t in the honeymoon phase anymore where they can be happy. at their current state, i believe that subin is now just wondering what happens next between them. since same-sex marriage in korea is not legal yet, their relationship has become stagnant. and since their families hasn’t been informed of their relationship, their is a limit to how far they can go. because of this, subin is getting doubts and thats normal.

it is not that subin and jun doesn’t love each other anymore. especially on jun’s side. they just haven’t figured things out on how to move forward with their lives together. and honestly, regarding blonde dude, i cant blame subin for being confused since he liked him for too long. but, he is trying his best. you can’t completely get rid of your first true love you guys.
