this might take long but i don’t think you guys know that this is reality. long term relationships tend to be stale sure but you have to consider that its so hard to get out of it even if you’ve thought about ending it.
for subin and jun, it has been 5 long years and a lot of things had happened between the two. they aren’t in the honeymoon phase anymore where they can be happy. at their current state, i believe that subin is now just wondering what happens next between them. since same-sex marriage in korea is not legal yet, their relationship has become stagnant. and since their families hasn’t been informed of their relationship, their is a limit to how far they can go. because of this, subin is getting doubts and thats normal.
it is not that subin and jun doesn’t love each other anymore. especially on jun’s side. they just haven’t figured things out on how to move forward with their lives together. and honestly, regarding blonde dude, i cant blame subin for being confused since he liked him for too long. but, he is trying his best. you can’t completely get rid of your first true love you guys.
I like how the plot is because it so... human. It just makes sense you would understand where they are coming from. Both of them had insanely sad backstories and they only had each other to feel seen so it makes total sense why they cling to each other despite everything. Its just so well written
