I remember jinwoo saying that the people in his life just seemed to fall ill and that he spend a lot of time in hospitals. Ever since that scene of him trying to remember what happened to his father and panicking later, I got this weird feeling that he might be connected/responsible to whatever happened (maybe even to his mother). We see him attacking guwon in his sleep with a knife, that means he had to go to the kitchen and do all of that. We also learn that he was very into watching violent matches when he was younger. So what if he has moments where he loses control and attacks people? (Or just something about him that attracts bad things). Also, his dream where the village people (people he's not even that close yet) are blaming him for their future deaths like ?? Where does this guilt came from? It's like he knows his presence will harm them somehow
Ayo, what if guwon gifted rings to other people, just like he did to jinwoo, and that's why he have that collection on his fingers? Like trophies or something. Right after they kissed and jinwoo confessed, guwon immediately gifted the ring to him. If so, that would be the reason as to why he was being so cocky later, like "just got another one".
It's interesting because outside is a pandemonium, literally a dystopia, but inside the village is the opposite of that, a utopia. The funny thing is that in utopias almost every time there are shady things going on to maintain the illusion of perfection. And, along with the sisyphus myth, we can apply this logic to almost every aspect os this story. The only thing that remains unchanged is jinwoo (yet, I guess there's more revelations ahead about him)
